Hi, Gem!
Shoot, I don't mind the thread hijacking! I started it! I just figured Diva and others may.

Yes, please do join me on my lonely post here: http://forums.buddytv.com/supernatural-actor-character-discussion/66579-john-winchester-loving-father-obsessed-jerk-4.html Sorry, I don't know how to do the nice, neat link. I need a tutorial.

And I agree with you about Bobby's motivation for speaking to Dean like he did. I know why he did it. It still stings me, though. And I love Bobby too! I wish he'd had a bigger part in the finale! Oh, well. He was so awesome in last season's finale, I guess they figured they'd give him a break.

John is quite the enigma! It seems that about 98 - 99% of what I read from my fellow fans about him is mostly negative and yet, at the CW Lounge, there is a "Season 5 Wish List" thread and guess what is on most people's list? The return of John! I don't get it! "He was horrible. I can't wait to see him again!" What?! Another few popular demands that I also wholeheartedly agree with are the John/Sammy fight (I've wanted a flashback of that since I first learned about it!) and the John/Bobby fight. I know we probably won't be so lucky, but if we even got one of those, I'd be elated! And yet another request which I'm on board with, just other John flashbacks in general. I'm guessing, though, that we'll be lucky to even get to see him in a brief cameo before the series ends; Jeff's such a star now!

Thanks for complimenting my quote choices! Glad ya liked 'em.

I'm glad my enthusiasm for the show, finale and Cas aren't putting you off! Speaking of Cas, he has his own corner in the character section ("Cas's Corner." Or did I use "Castiel?"). Love to have you and everyone else drop in for a visit any time!

Hey Cookie! While you are in full on demand mode, go here: http://forums.buddytv.com/supernatur...-wishlist.html

About the link: I think it's difficult because of you using the green colour. Do you know what html tags are?

Of course everyone wants to see JDM and while some people may think John sucked as a father (I don't) he still was undeniably cool.

Ahhhh John was a cool Dad.... much misunderstood.... More like Sam then Dean, IMO..... I am going to throw a rare old Irish strop of great proportions, if we don't see more Daddy in S5 as well..... the odd ep with Daddy in it.... wrapping up a few questions re: backstory and about his time in Hell and where he is now, wouldn't be unwelcomed here at all!!! <----- HINT HINT MASTER KRIPKE!!!!

Calena: No, I don't know what html tags are! Help, please? I want to be cool too!

Smileyone: "Irish strop?" What the--? Is that anything like a hissy fit? If so, I'll throw one with you if we get no John!

It's truly the worst event ever.... no one on the receiving end of one ever really survives it well.... it tortures them for the rest of their time....

Throw in an Irish lass throwing that fit and well... you could very nearly have the makings of an entire S6... right there by itself!!! An Irish Strop is so much worse then a hundred years in Hell..... ROFL..... In fact, Lucifer himself warns all about him to behave or he will set me on them!!! ... An extra treat for all is when I am in a bad mood around PMS time of month as well.... and throw in a morning where I have had only a few coffees... well you might as well just give up right there and then!!!

I threaten it on here, every now and again and seriously, everyone just bends to my requirements.... I think they are all afraid of my witchy powers!!! Hahahahaha.....

Note to self: Do not cross Smileyone.

Hmm, are you, in fact, smiley while doing that?! Because that would make it extra terrifying!

html tags are words written within square brackets [...] that make things appear in certain ways in your browser. Like when you press the "quote" button you see the word quote in square brackets, right?
And when you use the colour green, you have html tags doing so (only I assume that you do it by pressing a button and your browser does it automatically). It looks like this (only without the pluses, because if I added them you wouldn't be able to see the tags:
text [/color+] the slash indicates the end of whatever you ordered the text to be via html tag
In action
text

So somewhere here you got too many html tags for the colour green inserted, resulting in the link being green to. It's not really a problem, the link works perfectly, but if you want it to appear blue, that can be arranged.
Yes, please do join me on my lonely post here: [/COLOR+]http://forums.buddytv.com/supernatural-actor-character-discussion/66579-john-winchester-loving-father-obsessed-jerk-4.html Sorry, I don't know how to do the nice, neat link. So, now lets make the link blue:

This (without the pluses in the brackets

would appear like this:

You don't need to tell it to make the link blue, the board makes links blue by default. So basically you just had a few too many colour green html tags.

I probably don't make the least bit of sense to you. *sigh*

Her eyes are flashing in a neon green, that makes you beg for being hunted by YED instead!

OK, I think Smiley throwing a strop would make a good monster of the week. Someone call Kripke immediately! I wonder what the remedy is? Ground 4-leaf clovers mixed with the rock salt in the shells? Or sprinkling the salt with coffee first? Mixing "Lucky Charms" into the salt? *Tries to think of other Irish/faux Irish stuff. Fails.*

OK, Calena, that looks complicated! But I will give it a test run when I get time! Thanks so much for the tutorial; you rock!
