Oh! Well, then, you're in the right place!

Yep, September 10 is the Season 5 premier! One week from now! YAY!

Calena, what is "nice" and "civilised?" I'm not sure what those words mean.

"Lucifer Rising" was great! There, now that I've done my topical duty . . .

I didn't get into "Lost" either, smiley. I didn't see it from the beginning, anyway. AND I don't like shows that are one big puzzle. I like some mysteries here and there, but I don't like a TV show or movie to feel like a school assignment. But when it went into reruns here, I did start watching it . . . for the SCENERY!! Yes, it's true, I'd watch it JUST to see that breathtaking island scenery. I'll never get to actually go anywhere like that, barring a miracle, so I LOVED seeing it on TV. I didn't give a damn what was going on or who the people were, I just wanted them to move out of the way so I could see that gorgeous palm tree or sweeping mountain or ocean view. Ahhhh. Gorgeous!

I loved the first 2 seaons of Lost. I was hooked on it the second Jack opened his eyes, that's about 3 seconds in? Season 3 was ok, but S4 was weak, imo. They did well with S5 though.
I don't like mysteries either. But to disagree with []Cookie I was hooked on the stories of the characters. The flashbacks were genius. I care so much for the characters that I even sit through the mystery stuff.

They film Lost on Hawaii - []Cookie, I bet you feel Jensen when he's fantasizing about a 2 weeks shoot in Hawaii. Personally it's one of the place I really never have to visit, way to hot and tropical for my taste. If I could visit any island without money concerns, I'd pick Iceland.

Yes, I definitely understand Jensen's desire to do an ep. in Hawaii. It would be soooo weird seeing that, though. My first instinct was that it should be a humorous ep. but then I thought, no, wouldn't it be amazing if they decided to rise to the challenge and try to make it an extra spooky episode? If they could pull off a spine-tingling, creepy, scary ep. set in Hawaii, I'd be extremely impressed and happy! Although a few humorous/light details (such as Cas finally being forced to strip off at least the trench coat, if not the whole outfit because it's so damned hot and seeing the guys in swim trunks at the beach, looking all relaxed for once) would be nice.

OK, so let's make a deal: If the absolutely freak circumstance of me winning a vacation to somewhere cold and you winning an equivalent vacation to somewhere tropical at the same time ever occurs, we do solemnly vow to trade tickets! Hey, what should atheists swear upon?!

You want hot, EC... Try Bali... 41degrees the time i went there... got burnt to a crisp indoors!!! Calena... you should consult Misha before you head near Iceland... He's darn good at making igloos from scratch, as you well know!!!
Is Hawaii always hot though? I am seriously asking here as I am not great with weather systems/climates etc... in different areas, other then I know for sure it rains 365 days of the year in UK & Ireland.... What is the weather in Hawaii usually like... I have to admit... I can take a bit of sun, but I'm more with Calena on this one... I maybe wouldn't go as far as plonk myself all the way over as far as Iceland, as I would still like to wake up each morning with toes and fingers etc.... but I do like a bit of milder weather....

It would be even funnier if Cas kept the coat on on the hot days.... him being without the coat just feels so wrong....

BTW.... Slightly back on topic.... I finally caught up with first two seasons of Dexter.... Great show!!! Anyway, Mark Pellegrino did very well in s1 and the first two eps of the show... cracking effort.... I'm sure he will just rock in the part of Lucifer... a very wise choice, IMO!!!

Done! *shakes hands with Cookie in supersecret gangsta handshake way*
I personally like to swear on my copy of Richard Dawkin's God Delusion.

smiley They have these hot water thingies in Iceland, don't know what they are called in English. They also have lots of sheep, don't they? To knit warm pullovers with the wool. Or wait, that was probably Ireland.

It's so easy to get confused.... but I'm sure you're wrong... cause we don't have any hot water springs in Ireland... only thing hot over there is the manure stuck to the Irish farmers shoes after a long day!!! We do have sheep though....
