yes, brothers fight. I couldn't believe sam did that to dean in the end as well but he did stop himself, which shows he does have some restraint left in him. sam's judgement is clouded. He only sees that he has to kill lilith right now. although he did try to reason with dean in the hotel room,but I think dean didn't think sam was thinking clearly b/c of the demon blood.

Dean's thoughts are clouded as well. he wants to save sam thats why he agreed to do what the angels tell him, but if it turns out the angels have their own agenda, which I think they do, I doubt dean will do anything to harm sam. dean still doesn't know about cas letting sam out. he won't like that one bit.

I only have ONE question about this episode: did I not read somewhere that Cast was taking Sam on a spiritual journey? Was that a load of rubbish or did I miss something here OR is Sam maybe still down in the bunker living through some kind of twilight zone so he understands whats actually happening with him?

enough with the Dean crying I say! Why is Sammy never weeping? Down in that hole he had enough reason too...and why is every episode ALWAYS ending with a shot on Dean? Everything is about Dean...awlays always always...he's the one to stop the Apocalypse, he's the angels's bitch...he is the good boy...enough with that! Sam was soooooo right there! Dean always calls the shots and he always takes the wheels and picks the music....as much as that is fun at time he really should have trusted Sam for ONCE! If I was Sam I would have punched Dean too .... because Sammy really deserves his trust....after all they have been through this is the greatest insult to him - so that Sam snapped? Way to go Sam!!!

That was probably a wrong spoiler. I don't think they'll have time for that next ep, either. Plus heaven seems hell bent (how's that for a word play! ) on Sam actually killing Lilith.

candy will be all to glad to give you a list of Sam's misdemeanors. Well, we don't know how long Sam could have withstood torturing souls, so you can't really use that against Dean. However if it so happens that Sam should break the last seal, Dean having broken the first Dean should better not get all rightous on Sam!

I posted a video on the Lucifer Rising spoiler thread - the Promo isn't looking all too good for Sammy, but in the end, what would be so bad about Sammy being a black eyed demon trying to find a cure for himself in season 5 - the road to redemption - it could be interesting

i bet it turns out that Dean has to suck up to Sam in the end and tell him he was right all along

I know you know Joseph Campbell, Hero's Journey, and stuff. And that's what Sam is undergoing right now. He'll come out the hero at the end, just you wait and see!
