| No Rest for the Wicked is an awesome episode in so many ways. First and foremost because we got to see real brother heartfelt moments. The raw emotions between the brothers where we can see how much they love each other and how totally devoted they are to each other is what drew me to Supernatural in the first place. In this season three finale we got to see those moments ,and they were genuine and intense. Jared and Jensen were absolutely top notch in the episode and I was enthralled with their performances! You could really feel their emotions when Dean asked Sam to go after Lillith their way,the way Dad taught them. Even though Dean made light of things in the car as they were singing "Wanted Dead of Alive" you could still see the true feelings between the boys and how they really felt under the facade of singing and the appearance of everything is going to be all right. Jim Beaver also did a great job in this episode as well as he showed how much he cared and that he truly was a father figure to the boys. I was a little disappointed in the Lillith on shore leave story line. It seemed kind of weak, but that was just that part of the episode.I was not shocked that Dean died and went to hell because I saw that one coming at the end of season's 2 finale. I figured that is how season 3 would end. I am not sure where the story is going to go from here. I get that Lillith could not destroy Sam but what does that mean for Dean?I know that they will bring Dean back but I could not even begin to guess how. I just hope that he does not come back as a demon or that will ruin the show for me. I watch the show for the brother's relationship and so however Dean comes back they better not ruin that relationship and bond or they will ruin the show! I know it is a long time until fall I just hope that the writers figure out a way to bring Dean back intact and not ruin the integrity of the show that I love so much!

| Hello! Yay! Someone made a post about the finale. I was wondering when people were going to start talking. I think the finale was great, even if I wasn't too surprised about some of the events that occurred. I think the finale brought forth many of the elements that have become characteristic of the show and combined them all in one episode. We had a little action and suspense...and some humor....but we also got the more emotional scenes between the brothers. I particularly liked the way the finale ended. I wasn't too shocked that Dean died, but beforehand I wasn't too sure if they would choose do go this route. It would have been all too easy to appease us and find some way to save Dean, but they chose to go the more difficult, but interesting route. In the finale, we see Dean trying to maintain his facade where he appears to have accepted his fate. He repeatedly tries to make the point that he doesn't want to be saved if certain sacrifices have to be made, most notably anything that hinges on a deal with a demon. What made all this more interesting is how we saw him after he had died and when he was sinking into hell. I really liked the way they portrayed this scene. I thought the scene had this Hellraiser/Matrix look and feel to it. I don't know...it was just one of the first things I thought of when watching this scene. Anyway, we really saw his vulnerability in this scene...we saw how truly scared he was. Again, up to this point, he made it appear like he had accepted his fate...like he didn't want to be saved if it meant taking certain measures. It was up to him to accept his fate, so that he could keep his brother safe. However, after all was said and done, we saw him scared...screaming for his brother's help....a little too late to be heard...to be saved. Another thing I found interesting was how he could see the demons' true faces. There was this one scene where Bobby tells Dean why he doesn't find it crazy how he can see demons. He says, " You're almost hell's bitch, so you can see hell's other bitches." It's a little funny when he says it, but it makes a lot of sense. I was thinking that if the two brothers are trying to save people from the plans the demons have...and, in the process, save Sammy, what would be their best chances of achieving this goal? I would like to see Dean somehow find a way to help his brother, despite being a demon. I think this sort of thing could potentially work to their advantage. I mean, Sammy already has his own hidden abilities...his own connections to that world...but now that Dean might have some of his own, that makes for one hell of a team....I know there are some problems with this idea, but it isn't too implausible. We've seen Ruby with her own agenda...offering her help, even if she may not be the most truthful and forthcoming source of help. And Sammy could have given into his own powers and instincts a long time ago, but he's still fighting it.

| I have just finished watching it. I wonder where the recap of this episode is???? From the very first second when they played "Carry on ..." I knew the episode was going to be great. I was very impressed that they showed us Dean in hell. Though heartbreaking (and they gonna let him hang there until fall!!! I just know that whenever I think of SPN now, I will see the image of Dean being in chains and tortured There has been some confusion because EK said they would replace Jensen with Chad Michael Murray and even when I didn't believe it one second, after watching the finale I'm completely at ease that Jensen is not going to leave the show. Despite being dead and in hell his story is far from over. Also I can't wait to see Sam in all his newfound power. Will he just stride into hell and demand to get his brother back? I was a little bit disturbed how they stabbed all those people, sure they were possessed but they could have been saved by exorcism. OK, I know they didn't have the time and the means - luring them all into a trap - but it still bothered me. I'm very pleased that Dean admitted Bon Jovi rocks - you know a Bon Jovi song was the last song he heard on this earth! Does anyone know what the thing was Bobby took out of the Impala? It was over far too soon and I really don't know how I can make the hiatus until fall bearable!

| Yay!!! I'm glad you finally got to watch it and didn't have to wait too long! I have to agree that there is still more room for them to work Dean into the storyline. So what, he's in hell. I mean, this is SPN we're talking about here....so it not only makes sense, but it would also fit as well. I was a bit bothered by how they killed those demons as well, but, like you said, they really didn't have much time. Furthermore, Dean could see their faces....so there was no longer the hesitation on his part....you know, you see a person, you know they are possessed, but the still look so human.... It sucks we won't get anymore episodes for awhile, but at least we have some more Lost left. Have you seen the new episode yet? It was great, btw. I just knew Claire was Jack's sister...didn't I tell you that weeks ago? Ha! On the bright side, it looks like we'll be getting some PB in August!

I'm a bit worried though, has no one except us 3 seen the final episode? Not even a buddytv article about it? That's strange, don't you think? Quote:
I'm glad Sam didn't kill the little girl. At first I wondered what happened to black haired Lilith, but than it occured to me in order to get around if you are possessing a child a demon probably has to switch to kids who are where the demon wants to be. A little girl all on her own would draw too much attention. I think Lillith isn't the final villian, there must be someone above (or under in this case) her, someone she answers too, hence the "shore leave" comment. It would be kind of cool if her boss was the Devil himself, on the other hand, as much as I adore the Winchesters, I can't see them take on Lucifer - and win. I think season 4 will be about getting Dean back and killing Lillith and season 5 will be about her boss. I haven't watched the last 2 eps of Lost yet, I decided to wait till the final 2 episodes air next week and watch them all in a row, because I just get confused and annoyed with the S4 eps. I never paid much attention to the whole mystery and hidden clues, I watched for the character's stories, and we didn't really get much of that lately. I think I will be able to make more sense of it when I watch the eps back to back. But do tell me, is Sawyer getting more screen time? Quote:

Yes, it is strange, but it's like that with several shows. I got in here last night, looking to talk about SPN, but no one was around.I figured it would be a big deal, since it is the season finale and a lot did happen. I expected people would be a bit surprised/disappointed that Dean actually died. You know, it was interesting how the previous episode ended with Bella, yet we heard nothing about her in the finale. Also, the same goes for PB: I know a lot of information has leaked about PB...to the point where we have a good idea what to expect from the 2-hour season premiere. It's been said Mikey is getting his tattoos removed and a few primary characters are supposedly going to die in the first episode... Quote:

| I just think that it would be character assassination for Dean if he comes back a demon. He just would not be the same and even though I am sure that Jensen would do a fine job as a demon it just would not be Dean anymore. All the great qualities that make Dean the Dean we love would be gone. It truly would ruin the show for me. I am still holding out hope that maybe Dean isn't even in hell but rather in like a limbo or purgatory state. If so then maybe Sam can somehow save him.I also noticed that when they showed Dean at the end he still had his amulet on so maybe that will somehow come into play in bringing Dean back.
