| I'm sorry I am kinda new to this forum and I am not sure if this should be placed in this section or in the spoiler section (for all those that haven't seen the episode yet) but since it already aired I decided to open a discussion thread for it because I am dying to talk to someone about it!! "Long Distance Call" was such an awesome episode!! It's so sad that Dean wanted to believe that it was his dad calling... What do you think people? |

| I think you'll be ok in here regarding spoilers Untortunately I am still not sure what to make of this episode myself - i am just rewatching it and it just hit what i think confused me the first time round but couldnt put my finger on - it's not the fact that Sam had to have a rental car this time (although its awkward and unnessesary unless it means something they should have left it out, that's bad storytelling) and secondly it's the evil guy, this crocatoan. I mean I knew right from the start that it wouldn't be his Dad calling so I was just sort of working my way through this epi waiting for the resolution but now watching it again it strikes me how this whole plot doesnt make sense. If this crocatta drains the lifeforce of people in order to survive..and I get that bit...then why does he mess with people into killing themselves? What does he actually gain from that? Is it just for fun? But wouldn't it be easier having fun and luring the people to his hideout so he can drain their lifeforce? What I did like was the tension between the brothers although after ghostfacers , where they hadn't been exactly the ususal friendly team (despite their bickering)...it seems very strange and to me indicates that they'll split into good and evil or something....with a bang and I am not sure if I'm buying into it yet. So to me this epi was quite uneventfull and unnecessary for the major plot, they could have used that towards a bigger finale if they wanted to...I don't even remember a good line from this one...other Dean saying "the mouldy are calling the fresh" or something, I thought that was funny"....I am so sorry I couldn't be more positive What did you like about it supernaturalrox4ever (cool name btw)

| you're right Nanakiki, this episode is pretty uneventful. I liked it a lot the first time I watched it but I saw it again yesterday and I thought it was really weird because Dean was acting really naive. He knew that something called people and then the people died and he still thoguht that it could be his dad. And now that you mentioned it, the suicide thing doesn't make any sense! Hopefully tonight's episode will be better! |

| I had saw a bit of this episode on JensenAcklesFans, and what I saw was boring. This wasn't a good episode. |
