Absolutely one of the best episodes!
I hope the remaining episodes of the season are this good.
I think Jensen and Jared did very well with just the 2 of them in an episode, who needs those girls!?!?

Great job guys!!! And Sera for writing an awesome show!

This episode is by the far the best out of season 3! It had the right combination of scary, humor, angst and lots of brotherly love

(although the nail scene was pretty gruesome). Finding out the origins of Dean's necklace was awesome! Just when I thought the show was losing it's brotherly love factor, they hit us with this and I'm so glad that the Kripke Team hasn't forgotten what makes this show so brilliant. Like all the supernatural fans out there, the last scene left me teary and grinning like an idiot all at the same time. One of the rarest scenes where Dean didn't use sarcasm to hide his feelings and just let himself enjoy christmas with his brother

. Thank you to everyone involved in making Supernatural for giving us this early christmas present!

At last. The brother were back to being brothers again. I have missed that so much.

They've had a rough season those two. With Dean distancing himself and all that. Its so good to see them all brotherly again. I almost thought Sam was going to say the L word or they were going to hug or something.

Yeah, I was actually waiting for a hug though I know the chances of that happening are slim.
Great episode overall, like best of the season yet. Maybe a bit gory IMO, with the body parts in the Carrongtons' basement and the nail (I totally looked away though when it happened). Oh, and I feel bad for saying this but finally an ep to calm down the Ruby and Bela haters.

(And I also waited for JDM to make an uncredited guest appearance in the flashbacks, dunno why. Total sidenote: I very much liked the casting of the child actors in the flashbacks, well done in my opinion)

The show iis great....I am missing the brotherly interaction from the 2 previous seasons...but it's just a stage.

I Loved this episode!!!!!! It was all old school supernatural like how it used to be brothley love and all that it was awesome! I also love that they finally made a supernatural christmas episode and we find out about deans necklace and when dean told sam about everything it was a great episode! looking forward too more episodes like this one!

I agree again. Hopefully we will see those 2 in 20 years time in their own shows, the kids did a great job!
