Wow Jon, I'm impressed... I didn't know you had it in ya! An excellent and thoughtful analysis for a truly riveting episode where we had to use our brains and actually pay attention. Amazingly enough, some people actually DO watch for the plot! I very much agree with your thoughts on this episode and I thank you for finally focusing on something other than the inconsequential "chicks".

i really hope that Sam won't "turn to the dark side" *that sounded so like Yoda" cause that would seriously suck for Dean. But its strange that the demons think of Sam as some kind of "prince" that they should follow, he doesn't look like a leader.

Great article, i agree. I gather the same thing from the episode. I think Evil Sam will be great. It will kinda suck for Dean though.

Evil!Sammy is always something I breakout the popcorn for. Jared just nails it, I love it.

I loved evil Sam in BUABS...he was great...maybe Kripke can let Jared play evil Sam for a few episodes. Then Dean and Bobby have to go agaisnt Ruby to get Sammy back. Then in the process they can kill Ruby and her evil ways and Katie Cassidys poor acting skills can be killed with one stone.

I don't think Ruby's trying to find her way back to the light at all. I agree with Jon's theory--get Sam to willingly lead the army, then he can order the demons to call off the deal and leave Dean alone.

wow. okay SN season 3 only comes out here next year january but it sounds awsum for u guys so far! okay lets get one thing straigh: i know i'll hate the girls. i wish we could just ignore them all together and focus on the brothers. also, i'm liking Padackels theory bout the demons wanting to return to da grace of God etc. i think it's completely wrong...but i like it! I think it will be kewl if Sammy goes darkside for a couple of eps, and by kewl i mean reali hot, but then Dean should save him.
