I like Katie more, I think she pulled off Ruby perfectly. She was funny, non threatening, and just kind of an all around badass. Even before I knew she was a demon, I was liking her whole demenor.

Bela...well there was just something off about her. I honestly wouldn't care if Dean and her hooked up because tehre was a little bit of tension there at the beginning, but after everything that happened I don't see anything going on anytime soon between them. So the reason I'm not as fond of Bela right now has little to do with her being aimed at Dean and more to do with the fact that I think her character feels like she will be more forced into the storyline and that her purpose is going to get old and annoying. WHen she showed up to steal th bunnyfoot back I was already annoyed with her. I'm just glad Dean thought fast and was able to outsmart her.

Now the reason everyone is talking about the new girls is because they are new characters who are going to be in ther series a lot this season. Really though, they're shinny and new and they're here to stay, at least for a little while. After a few epsiodes, everyone will become less interested in talking about Ruby and Bela but until then its going to be a hot topic and just because one person has come to peace with the characters doesn't mean everyone has, especially since Bela's first episode was two nights ago.

This was a wonderfully written episode. Congrats to the writers! Jared's acting in this was terrific. (I too think he's the overall better actor.) I like Bela. I like there being a hunter who turns selfish and mercenary. She's a good foil to all the dedicated, selfless hunters we've met so far. I think she'll be a good character on the show, and I don't see any reason why she won't fit in nicely. I also think it's about time they introduced a religious fanatic hunter (Kubrick). And I am delighted to see Gordon return! More Gordon! I am looking forward to seeing more of Ruby too. I loved Meg and I think I'm going to love Ruby.

No, not more Gordon. LOL. I think Jensen is the stronger actor by far, but Jared's acting was on stop this episode. He was just awesome.

Jensens awesome and is better esp with carrying the emotional heavy stuff but Jared is freakin cute and still awesome!

They're both really good actors and play off each other so well. I think (especially in the beginning because Jared has grown a lot as an actor over the last couple years) that Jensen was the stronger actor, but Jared and him play off each other really well. They are an awesome team. If you're going to get super emotional, I think Jensen steals the show on those episodes.

I liked Bela. It was an interesting viewpoint of the hunter world, and I hope they write her in well. I'm looking forward to the next episodes. And the comedy here was amazing! Jared is so adorable. The 'I lost my shoe' line was the best, but I agree, the 'I'm Batman' line was classic Dean. Seriously, Dean is such a fanboy, if he became a superhuman pervert, he'd sooner relate it to becoming someone like Batman, rather than some sort of demi-god or something. Anyone else, and that line would be a desperate attempt at sounding cocky and cool, with Dean? It's just totally Dean.

So I finally saw this episode and I totally loved it. This might actually be my favorite episode since Tall Tales. I mean how can I not love "Wow, you suck!" "I lost my shoe" and especially "I'm batman".
Since everybody is talking about Bela: I liked Ruby better because she seems at least have some purpose to the storyline. As of yet, Bela is just *there* and I cannot make out a real reason behind that. Why and in what way is she important to the story? But did I get it right that she is no hunter?

Yeah she is no hunter. A mercenary who steals **** and sells it to the top bidder. **** Dean and Sam are gonna need. Thats gonna get real old, real quick.

The episode is sooo freaking funny though, you're right. The face Sam makes when he looses his shoe makes me want to laugh and cuddle him all at once! So cute. And Batman...well, we always knew Dean was the Dark Knight!

K, then I got it right that Bela is no hunter. I just have seen it mentioned a few times that she is a hunter so I was kinda confused.

Aw, and poor shoeless Sammy. I totally wanted to cuddle him although I would have probably laughed at him the same time. And I totally felt for him when he fell in front of the diner and had bloody knees. Then again, I cringed more at that than at the guy impaled by the giant fork. There must be someething wrong with me lol.
