I completely agree. I think from a writing standpoint, making Ben Dean's kid would change a big dynamic for the show and would either introduce a child into the series, or make Dean a deadbeat dad. Neither of which is where the writers want to go I don't think.

So I finally saw this episode and I rreally liked it. I gotta admit I was a bit in doubt about SN after the end of last season but I have a much better feeling about the new season now.
Heh, Ben was so cute and adorable. And I'm also believing that he really is Dean's and that the mother lied about his parentage.
