For the record, I quite like this character... You know, I am sure I recognise this actor from something... Did he do something with Angelina Jolie.... I swear, if not then it's his double.... twin... whatever!!!

I truly wonder what makes/made an obviously brainy sensible guy like Mr. Collins, who has a somewhat interesting career in the Whitehouse, with the Clintons.... suddenly turn to the world of acting??? Hmmm... Interesting choice of careers!!! Hmmm... intriging!!!

As a character, I like Castiel. I can see why Master Kripke introduced this character into the cast/show! There are infinite ways he could take this character.... and It looks like this character may be in it for a while... Which should really please you Helps!!!

He's relatively pleasing on the eyes at a first glance too.... Jeez, I only hope that he doesn't love the layers of clothing as much as the boys do..... Angels can strip too, can't they......

yea,master kripke made many fans happy by taking Misha into the show...... he´s really great actor...poor you that you have to watch it in the small box,cause he can speak by his mimicry

So, with the help of smiley I have finally made it into this thread.
My take on Misha/Castiel: Love the actor, he's, like smiley said it, not too hard on the eyes, he certainly has an intense on screen precense (though I can't remember seeing him in S1 of 24, you smiley?), he gives a great performance as Castiel, he obviously has brains and humour, so yes, I like Misha.

I don't agree with you about his voice, though, helps. I far more love Jensen's and Wentworth's voices, and no one tops Josh Holloway speaking in a Southern Drawl as Sawyer. I'm all for Sawyer reading Relevations to me! That would be great, because I'm kinda too lazy and too busy right now to read it myself, but if it contains SPN spoilers I'm of course interested.
There was GuardianAngel, talking till her mouth fell off to get us reading the bible, and Kripke does it with a lift of his little finger.

Castiel on the other hand is an obnoxious angel, and I'll stand by that opinion until proven otherwise (probably through the introduction of his even more obnoxious angel-brother Uriel). The way he jerked Dean around by telling him to "stop it", when there never was any chance to do so, I don't aproove of.

lol,i´m not surprised that you don´t agree with me about his voice...it´s just the nice one for my taste...Dean/Jensen has also great voice and agree about Sawyer...If I remember well like it was in your sig Robert K has nice voice,too....i´m ok with you not liking Misha´s voice,though...I like his voice either

Oh I swear, If only I had Master Kripke doing the bible reading work down at my local church on a Sunday, I swear I would get it alot more.... My mind would not be wandering so much....

Revelations is a really tough book in the bible to read... AJ reads thru it from time to time, unlike me he enjoys it.... It's full of bits of angels who are far from nice... angels with attitudes etc... It can be interpreted in so many ways... What one might see in it may not necessarily be the opinion of someone else... that's why, I guess this whole Castiel character and all he supposedly represents is so intriguing a character!!!

I don't find him obnoxious because he has a dark side, I agree that he can't be the fluffy and harp playing variety when he has to fight demons. But I don't like how he treats Dean.

BTW, are those wings only for show, or can Castiel fly?

it´s true i´m all sorry for Dean especially after last epi,but i blame how Casty so Sam...i don´t like that Dean is poor all alone,Sam is hiding beyond his back with Ruby and Casty just tells him what he has to do without any explanations....but i can tell you,i´d like Castiel even if he´d turn out to be evil,just i like Azaziel character...it´s something what i can deal with,but if Sammy would turn out to be evil,i don´t know if i´d like him anymore...it would be hard cause i like him as younger brother with his cute smile and so...with Castiel i´m just enjoying Misha´s acting and character of Castiel im liking so far...as with Ruby..i wasnt convinced that she´s good and she was hard on Dean,too,but i liked this character either..
