Guess who's back online.......?????????????????????????????????????

Finally got an BT engineer to come in to fix wiring.... hmmmmm.... It only took about a half dozen calls to the company to get them to admit it was their problem and that I wasn't just some neurotic female that took my PMT out on their wee telephone box on the wall.... It took him all of two whole minutes to rewire the socket.... two minutes!!!! ..... I have had two sodden weeks of no internet.... and way way too much sleep because of those lost two minutes!!!

Anyhow.... I am back now... all normal services have resumed.... seriously though.... I'm feeling quite rough today.... had to do this women's feel good morning thing this morning... really early... I usually do the massages etc... but I got mmmmms to do them instead of me today.... hahahahahaha.... she did a total of 9 pairs of feet today.... In turn, I actually took time out and had some work done on me for a change.... I was half dead til I had my shoulders done at 11am ish...
We started off about 9am with a big continental brekkie... full of goodness.. that I could just look at... I swear I wasn't able for a thing other then a half dozen coffees!!!

Anyway... feeling semi normal now... back to gig.... we had a ball at it last night! The guys were great!
Nana... I will email you with my take on it... when I figure out what half the new settings and things are that my mate loaded up on my computer during the week! He came over to try and fix problem and just stripped my computer down while he was at it! He deleted piles of c**p I didn't even know was on there... anyway... in typical man fashion... he has moved everything around to ''HELP'' me best work everything....
There is about 50 more named folders on my desktop that have computer titles I think he made up just to confuse me... I got to go thru them all at some stage and maybe delete 49 of them!!!
Yeah..... Ye guys are sooooooooo funny.... You crack Smiley up....

Anyway... gig... It was a lot of fun... what I remember of it of course.... managed to pick up a couple of CD's... mmmmms has already nicked one of them... so I nicked it back ... I think we will have to do shared custody of them!!!

I am sooooooooooo happy..... I'm back home .... on these forums.... Oh how Smiley missed being on here.... Last two weeks were puer hell... The conversations I have had to have with mini me.... all that shared quality time.... OMG.... I thought It would never ever end.... LOL!!!

Anyway... I'm going to go for a wander around these threads now.... see what you are all up to... Be good

I'm so glad you are back smiley, I missed you soooooooooooooo much.
It's curious how telecom companys all over the world suck. It's the same with Austrian telecom. A friend of mine who moved wanted to have Internet installed. Her husbands sister is very technic-savy and did all their wiring, so the telecom guys would only have to plug it in. After weeks of phone calls she finally got someone to come, only to be told that it wouldn't work with the kind of wiring they did. She arranged for the telecom guys to come back a week later and for her sister in law to be there to tell them what to do. With following her instructions they mangaged to get her online within 10 mins. Seriously, these guy install internet accesses for a living, shouldn't they know what they are doing?

BTW did you get around to pick up some CDs of the SPN bands? I got my amazon order delivered yesterday and am totally happy, if it weren't for the fact that the ear plugs on my mp3 player constantly fall out because my ears are too small for them!!!! But the music's great!
Tell me if you want me to send some of it to you. I even learned how to zip files today, so I might be able to get something via mail to you.

Actually no I'm not as much as you would think.... I am playing it more on the guitar but that's nothing new... I tend to have a stab at most songs I hear on a daily basis.... I tend to unwind with a few mins on the guitar in the evenings.... anyway, as already said... I also really like Van Morrisons version of this song. AJ sings along with me most of the time.... he's even started to play some basic songs on his keyboard now too! I have been humming alot more of Jason's stuff though... poor guy was choked up with a cough last night... he still made a damn fine attempt at every song though!!!

BTW, Calena... Jason's album has him just singing the song... no Jensen... which I got to say is also a pretty good version! He does have a fairly good voice... with or without Jensen!!!

Have to admit, prior to last night neither mmmmms or myself have heard a single song of Rileys.... his album has a different feel to it then Jason's stuff! They all signed both albums for us!!! I'm going to load them up on my Ipod today.... Funny though... at least next door will be soon able to sing along to another set of songs other then the Bedingfields or Darren Hayes....

I had strict instructions from 'Mini Me' re: how I was going to enjoy last night... prior to us going out last night.... He told me to limit my wine intake to no more then three glasses.... when I told him that sadly... wine is not an option for me due to my grape allergy [YEAH SERIOUSLY]... he immediately jumped in saying that I was NOT to drink beer as that was .... wait for it..... 'A Man's drink'.... Yeah I know... I dunno where he gets that idea from either... And with vodka.... I was to have just two.... hmmmmmm.... I'm so glad he wasn't there... or around this morning to see me fight the hangover....

Talking of their musical differences... I'm really not sure if I prefer one more then the other musically! They are both good albums.... although it has to be said... there is slightly less of a kick to Jason's music when one is still having their own drumming session going on in thier head after the night before.....

Calena... re: SPN music... TBH... I haven't even looked for any music yet.... I'm nicely broke now since last night.... happily broke though!!! LOL!!! CD's will have to wait for next month! Calena... I will get onto sorting out mag order over this weekend... I will pm you later... I am going back to bed now for a bit... I am wrecked tired.... LOL!!! Might even sit in bed, and watch the SPN eps online... as I don't have Mini Me about to keep stopping the link to explain something or other to me.... or quote Dean... I swear he idolises those boys....
He got into trouble last week out in his playground for drawing chalked out circles with squiggles in them.... apparently he made one of his girlie classmates stand still in it for a few minutes...

where do you live Candy? They mainly hang out in LA playing in the local clubs, I dint think they ever tour in the US, Jason mainly performs at all these SPN conventions, so does Steve Carlson, who I missed live on monday though.

I got my cd's signed too, though I am ususally not after these things, but since i lugged them around it feels appropriate and it's definetly a good reminder that it wasn't a hallucination lol

Yeah Candy... the gigs were great... Hard to really say what really influences these guys music wise... they actually sound different to each other in a way... and like in one way or another quite a few singers I have heard over the years... I am always up for hearing new music though... widening my tastes or CD collection... although, I somehow doubt that I will be using these two CD's as coffee table coasters for a really long time yet.... LOL!!! I can see why people like their music though!

Yes.. they are also on tour in the US sometime during the summer.... I am not entirely sure where though as I am not likely to go to one of those gigs... but you never know.... guess we could all go kip on Candy's floor for a weekend.... LOL!!! I could even take my guitar along and as I believe Nana and Candy may also have guitars... we could have a real jamming session.... LOL!!! Ha... that would be a laugh!!! LOL!!! I'm thinking it's Utah or Ohio or some other state with just a few letters in it that they are playing in.... I remember reading info on it somewhere.... Sure you could find info on it online though!!!
