Have a listen... if just to hear some beautiful singing for at least a few minutes...
BTW... Aaron Neville and his brothers are one of my dads favourite singers.... hence why I have heard of him/them!!

And Nana, I also ordered the book "Lullaby" which is entirely your "fault" of course.

Nana, when is the con you're going to, this weekend? I still couldn't think of any great, not boring, not common questions for you to ask the actors. And I promise I will answer your mail sometime soon.

Wow.... You weren't kidding when you said you went a bit mad on the purchases!!! LOL!!! I am going to go into the local Music Store at the weekend... and try and pick up some of these albums... Thing is, that I probably have most of the music on them in one shape or another... Certainly have some LS, CCR and Def Lep.... I'm not sure I would buy entire albums of some of these acts though...

Like Journey, Boston and Foreigner, although, they have sung loads of songs only a couple of them are really memorable... and I probably have them on the millions of 80's ish rock albums I have here already!!!

Now Queensryche & Nazareth are entirely a different matter... other then about two each of their songs.... I have no other stuff of theirs... they might be interesting to check out! I have to admit I had never heard of Kansas before SPN either... don't know why... but they completely slipped under my radar!!! LOL!!!
I'll go into store at weekend and check what prices are like for these and then maybe buy them! I'll let you know if I am unsuccessful in my quest!!!

I know at the risk of me beginning to sound like a cracked record.... but I have to admit I am really liking Jason Manns stuff... It's got a really good sound to it.... I will have to start making waves to get my hands on some more of his stuff!!!
I know Nana is going to have a look for his music at the Con at the weekend.... AJ actually likes one or two of them himself.... He was going round the house this morning singing 'Crazy Love' at the top of his voice... with was kind of funny seeing that his gob was full of weetabix at the time!!!! LMAO!!!!

How are you today, BTW Calena?
What's Lullaby about... BTW.... ???

I have no real idea what Lullaby is about, a crime story I think. It's written by the guy who wrote "Fight Club" (TBH I have never seen this movie entirely and I'm not that into the bits I did see) and both Nana and Jensen like his writing style. So as it was quite cheap I ordered it, too.

smiley, if you want some of the CDs I ordered I'm sure we can figure something out how I could get them from here to you.
All those CDs I ordered are "Best ofs", I wouldn't buy the regular studio albums of all those bands, unless I won the lottery (which I hope will happen any day now. ). I only have very few of these songs, so it made sense for me to order them all, but it'll probably be a while till I can afford my next big amazon order ( a few small items I will have to order soon, like the DVD to 27 Dresses when it comes out, because I promised one friend to watch it with her in the cinema and then completely forgot about that promise and went to see it with other friends who wanted to see it. The funniest thing is I didn't want to see that movie at all, to begin with. Anyway, the first friend now will get the DVD as an "I'm sorry" gift).

I have not yet heard of it... I wasn't that gone on Fight Club.... as it movie... it kind of bored me!!! [I know hard to believe!!]...

Talking of movies... Rocky 1 [or whatever the one with Apollo Creed in it was]... was on TV ultra early this morning... and AJ had one eye on it as he was both singing to himself and wolfing down his breakkie before we set off for school/work!!! Anyway, it finished as we were just about to head out the door at seven.... I seriously nearly died laughing when AJ said to me... [not thinking]... ''One of these days... Apollo Creed will beat him instead of the other way round''... He has seen the movie umpteen times... it's one of his favourites... strangely enough.... He then realised what he had just said and just laughed!!!

It rates up there with his Titanic cracker a while ago..... After seeing the movie with the ship actually rip in two and totally sink... [whilst everyone on board no doubt drowned themselves to get away from the strains of Celine warbling away in the background....] He then turned to me and said... great movie Mom.... when are they going to make a follow up... Titanic 2?? He didn't quite understand how movies work as well as he does now... it took me the best part of about 20 minutes to explain it to him!!!

Yeah... might take you up on that.. if I can't see them in the local stores... sometimes they sell them for next to nothing.... I pick up alot of the classics that way....
BTW... Are you strapped for cash now or do you want to still go ahead withthe mag order.... I must get onto that soon-ish!!!

Back to topic.... ummmm.... Jensen.... ummmm... singing... awesome!!! Totally awesome!!! [see how I did that Calena?.... really smooth that was!!!.... Like we never went off point at all!!!.... ]

I totally want to order the mags! Please mail me your bank details so I can pay you the money (35 pounds, wasn't it?). I can't wait for my SPN mag #1 and I'm soooo looking forward to the mysterious 100 page special.

You know, considering how much money that movie made I'm actually disapointed that they didn't think of a way to make a sequel . Didn't the Titanic have a sister ship called Oceanic?

Jensen you are very awesome, keep up the awesome-ness!
See, smiley I can do that, too!

I believe it was called 'the Olympia'! You know ... seriously... there are many many people around Belfast, Northern Ireland... where the ships were made... who very strongly believe that it was actually the Olympia that sunk and not the actual Titanic on that fateful night!!! Even some of the survivors who eventually settled in parts of Ireland had their opinions about it as well.... seriously they do/did..... A few have even written books and done TV documentaries etc... about it! It was supposed to have been switched in a large insurance scam type thing on the day before!!!... They were near identical in appearance other then a few random modifications like extra portholes etc...... that People in Belfast claim to know most about! I have no idea what ever happened to that ship.... after that day!

That's a pity because I won't be home tonight - meeting up for ice-cream with my ex-boyfriend R!

Oh, how do I compete with that? I'll try:
Jensen, your awesome smile makes me melt even when I have the most crappy day. Jensen, you know how I think about "Days of our lifes", but because you are in it - with all your awesomness there, but not fully developed - I might give these youtube clips another go. Oh, and not to mention that I just shelled out a bucketload of money because the awesome character you play in an awesome way that has me in awe of you has the most awesome tast in music!

How did I do, smiley?

wasn't the ship called Britannica?

Anyways, I have no idea what Lullaby is about either and will get my hand on it next - do you by books in german or english calena?

I just came from beautiful Nottingham home of Robin Hood (i had an interview which was such a waste of time) but I went to a Waterstone bookshop, I havent been in ages because I love books so much I could buy them buy the trolley load if I a) had the shelves for them and b) the money.

Anyway, i went right in and in the humour section I grabbed the first book I saw because its THE book every SPN fan (and Jen and Jarhead...I mean Jared) should have...I must get a copy to them somehow..maybe through Jim?

Anyways, Its called " The Monster Hunter's Handbook" by Ibrahim S. Amin, a guy from Manchester....and the book is brilliant! For Hellhounds it suggest to feed them a honey cake laden with drugs so they fall asleep and then they could be trained and tamed by a skilled hunter, however as not that easy might employ skilled dog trainer to help out.... - even though its an ironic book he has researched the historical myths so its really entertaining too

...boy we are so far off topic we could reach the end of the universe at this rate :P
