that´s right - i couldn´t wait and depend on pro7 - they use to just drop series during season ...

Yes, I owe that behaviour some big temper tantrums! And because of that if I catch a series I come to like on Pro7 I always look for it online now, because you really can't trust them!

Very true. I did watch SPN online before it came on Pro7, but while channel hoping I sometimes catch SPN on Pro7 and it's so horrible hearing the german voices, it makes me cringe. I found that nearly every actor has a better voice than the one who translates him. Exceptions are Antonio Banderas and I'm not sure about Greg House yet.
And that's only my complaints about the voices, I haven't even talked about the translations themselves yet. Although I'm aware that certain things are impossible to translate. When someone says something that makes absolutely not sense you can be sure that was a word play in English.

i agree - there are only very few good voices on german television - it´s a shame because the voice is really important - a sentence can have a totally different meaning if you pronounce it in a different way than the original - and if the hot and steamin guy on the screen sounds like a 14 year old who didn´t even had his change of voice ...


i don´t want to start about the word plays - let´s just say, they are horrible translated - sure it´s difficult to translate something from another culture but you just have to try and do your best - and sometimes it is better to translate it to your culture and not use the original phrase - because a word to word translation really takes away the real meaning of a word play - some things you just can´t traslate - period!
