To all those who don't like the new characters! It makes the show spicy i mean Dean wanting to kill bela how awsome! And now he has someone who is in range! I mean with sam he won't stoop to childish level but bela will! Like when she got his car towed! And ruby i guess she is good for sam! I like all the Characters[Dean is my fave]! [I love Jensen]

I dislike both female characters... NOT the actresses, let me stress, though they are both wrong for their characters. The parts have been miscast. Perhaps Lauren would have made an interesting Jo (without the love interest). Lord knows Alana Tol (again miscast, not her fault) didn't. Why must every young female character on TV weigh in at 99 pounds soaking wet? *sigh*

Lauren is an amazing actress! I love Bela, her wit and her accent! Bela was a great addition to the show, and a much more interesting character to watch than Ruby. I don't really like Katie. She just seems to try to hard. Her relationship with Dean is amazingly funny! I hope to see more of her.

| I feel like I must be watching a) a different show and b) a different actress when I read through posts that like either the Bela character or think the actress is doing a good job of it. First off, her accent is truly dreadful. I am not even nitpicking the fact that it bounces all over the globe (although that is annoying), butg it would be almost understandable given her life, however, it is grating on the ears, it is unnecessarily over-enunciated, and it is clearly "put on". Next up, she lacks any kind of chemistry with either Jensen or Jared, which seems to be a common flaw in the casting department for this show - which is remarkable given the calibre and appeal of the male leads. She is always stiff and wooden when she is on screen with either of them, which is generally the result of her gross over-acting. You're not on a stage! We can see you! It's television! And more important than the miscasting of the actress, the character detracts from the show and should never have been cast in the first place. I understand the notion of having a recurring "foil" for the boys (enter Hendricks, enter Gordon - oops, exit Hendricks, exit Gordon), but it is thoroughly disappointing that the Bela character seems to be able to best the boys every gorram time, when not any other "foil" has managed it. It makes no sense! It is a betrayal of everything the show set up about the Winchester brothers - how can we believe they are even remotely competent when such an incompetent and spiteful *thief* can one-up them in every episode she appears? I resent the way they have Dean and Sam interact with her, because its so patently false to their characters. Nothing has ever implied that they could be so stupid, so trusting, and so gorram naive as they are when they interact with Bela. And no, I am not buying the notion that she *has that affect on them*. Refer to earlier point about no chemistry. And to be clear, I am not a fan who is opposed to any female character being on the show, I just think they failed miserably to introduce a worthy character who would add to the dimension and drama of it. I'd actually like to see a recurring female character with whom one or both could interact. Oh yeah, they had that - what happened to ELLEN!? And for any who make the case that they needed to add female characters to appeal to more of a male audience - apparently you didn't notice the babe-of-the-week tendencies of the first two seasons. Bring back the babe-of-the-week for those who want it, but please drop the Bela character. The more she's in it, the less I want to watch.

Love Lauren but I love to hate Bela as she is no angel for sure! And that is the point with her character. I love especially how she drives Dean crazy, hehe (minus her stealing the colt - that I wasn't impressed about, it better be for a fricken valid reason!!!) A general comment in regards SN girls... come on people give them a break they need to make the show somewhat different from the other seasons... just sit and enjoy the storyline (don't be overcritical).

I am German and EVEN I can tell how fake her accent is. Why did they have to make her British in the first place? To sound more evil? Should have called her Elsa and made her Dscherrman ![]()
