Yeah..... Do you remember that £10,000 you owe me..
Oh yes, that's true, what was that for again? Ah, I remember, tickets to Canada, accomodations there and a month on the SPN set. Thank you sooooo much for organising that!

I'm just happy to share out the SPN love..
Me, too! You know Michaela, our newest PB member? She's my new "watch SPN from the beginning" project.

Actually... I haven't yet... I'm sure it's on it's way... You'll probably get your way before I do , as this is a really bad postal system in UK at times... Letters get sent quicker to someone the other end of the world then someone two doors up from you here!!!
Hm. It's been in the stores over a week now, hasn't it? That's a shame that you still haven't got it. I wonder, as it's the poster issue, who will get all those posters, AJ or you?

Quote:
Onto a funnier matter... Do you remember that pink lidded Tupperware lunchbox you sent over with whatever in it??? Well... AJ has made that his own now... He's not wanting to give you it back... For some reason, He reckons it's so much better then any one of the 500 million similiar ones we have floating round here!!! He told me to say thank you from him to you for his new School fruit tuck box!!! ... The Jam went down a treat btw..
I never intended for you to send it back, I have a ton of these things, and in various colours and sizes, too. However, they are not only usable as lunch box, they are also freezer-proof, so if you ever feel like it you could freeze something in it. I can relate to AJ when he likes this one better than your similiar ones, I am always telling people casually "oh, my friend from England sent me that" - it's way cool to have a friend in England - and you are a special treat, because I can double "use" you as my friend from Ireland, too.
Do you think AJ might like apricot jam, too? I myself like the strawberry jam better, the apricot is not as sweet by a long shot. But many people tell me they love it just because it's not as sweet.

Quote:
As I said before... EK... That sense of humour... It really, is no wonder that show does as well as it does... He may toy with the shows fans...may add storylines etc in just to get the fans all excited or mad... ... etc... however, he has never ever once not treated every single one of them/us with respect!!! I like the show, too for that reason... PB has so lost it's way... it's fans have been forgotton about along the way to acheiving immortality.... The show has suffered seriously since!!!
I'm 100% with you on that. I know you didn't watch Buffy, for whatever reason - I'm sure AJ would love it - but that show's creator, Joss Whedon, has a similiar sense of humour to EK. In fact Joss was my fave screen writer EVER, no one came even close to him, until Eric came along and he takes his seat right next to Joss in my list of screen writers I adore. Joss is like EK in that way, that he absolutely respects the fans, but he buts the story's needs before everything. For example he introduced a character in S4 and people didn't like her at first. Then he got the audience to really love her and then he killed her off one and a half season later, and I've read that he got hate mail because off it. So he himself said, as sorry he is to loose the character, it made absolute sense storywise and he'll always put the needs off the story first. And I love him for that. EK is the same, so I'm completely sure he won't ever ruin SPN by pulling a PB on us.

Quote:
However, that saying... If he could just bring out or off a few more layers of clothing.... WE fans would love them all soooooooo much more then....
I know... Little and Often... Little and Often!!!!
It certainly was a promising beginning. You remember that ghost/demon/whatever Dean heard, because of which he salted the windows? I feel Vanishing Clothes Demon approaching fast!

Did you get around to watching DA yesterday?

Ahh Great trip that was too!!!

Oooohhh a newbie!!! It seems like ages since you were breaking me into the fold!!! I look back from time to time on those comments over in newbie thread and I can't understand how I ever lived without that show!!! I can't for the life of me, honestly understand how It bipassed me first time round. I guess in 2005, I was pretty busy with selling houses and custody battle etc... so I guess that was why!
And to think... a life without knowing the difference between the SHO and the SLHO... or even having them in it.... OMG... What Hell that would have been!!!

Quote:

Actually, it takes a week or two to get on the store shelves here...It isn't on some of them yet! I checked yesterday when I went in for his Match Attax football cards... He gives me back his pocket money each week so I can buy him these football trading cards... He collects them!!! I have to go out and get them ...

Bloody good job there!!! You will have to stage an all out war with Master AJ for that box... He has even put it up in his room and put his football cards resting on it so I don't use it for something else!!! I would go with the Apricot Jam, I think he would like that one too... He loves his fruit and food... in general!!!

I like the style of EK! This is my second time of writing this post btw, as I was practically finished last time and it went back to a net explorer page... losing all my stuff... so anyway, I will sum up what I wrote on last one... I like his style of writing, he is so professional in his approach, that I am guessing he has quite high standards, I feel he would rather wait months to get the show completely right then to spurn out a half assed thing within a week or two!!!

He also gets my admiration for the fact he is willing to step out of his comfort zone to do an ep or two completely different from shows main theme... the Ghostfacers one, for example springs to mind. Now, while others really didn't like it, I actually quite enjoyed that one! I have also heard that maybe he is going to do an ep that is dedicated to 1930's horror monsters... a B&W one, paying homage to old film stars! Seriously, you can't for one sec even come close to believing how excited I am about this one... if they pull it off!!! I'm nearly more excited about this one then I am of Dean's return.... Nearly... but not quite!!!

Best thing is too, that EK is also relatively speaking a young guy, he has many many years ahead of him yet to continue writing top shows etc... If that's what he chooses to do in life!!! I look forward to catching up with more work of his soon!!!

Quote:
It certainly was a promising beginning. You remember that ghost/demon/whatever Dean heard, because of which he salted the windows? I feel Vanishing Clothes Demon approaching fast!
Yeah great start... Nice touch from EK, for his shows fans, that he showed more then a tiny promo... He really did treat his fans here! I truly wish more writers/creators on other shows were as honest with their fans as he was! Truly, even if the show started to go downhill... Which I believe it will never do... I would continue watching it just cause of the whole package!!!

Talking of Dean & Sam... AJ thought it was the best touch ever that Dean had the meathook sticking out of his shoulder!!! And the blood squirting everywhere as the hounds attacked him... Well, AJ thought that was just pure magic!!! The Sam Scowl at the time, as he calls it, was also priceless as ever in his opinion!!!

For the record, AJ runs this theory that Dean recovers much quicker when he gets punched around the upper part of his face... ie... His eyes etc... Sam, although he bruises more easily, iho... he tends to recover quicker then Dean!!! He also believes that in any other time and place, Dean would have been severely brain damaged by now with all the punches he gets to his head or with all the getting thrown up against walls he has had to endure... Sam, on the other hand should be well on his way to having severe problems with broken cheekbone fragments and bad breathing problems etc... too by now... but amazing they heal well!!!

You may laugh about the above... but as I have said before on here.... You lot only get the bits of conversation I tell you about him... I have to live with him!!! He's currently over in his dad's house, comes back on his birthday on 11th August. He will be 9 then!

Only seems like yeasterday, I had him in my tummy! He was so like a little alien when in me as he used to nearly shove all his fingers and toes out against my stomach wall about 50 times a day! It's not hard for me to get very emotional around this time about all that, as he was a miracle baby from day one!!! I nearly lost him 5 times during the pregnancy due to severe illness and complications... In fact, every morning I woke up and got sick was another day I knew he was still alive in me... So I will never regret a single second of that time!! BTW, He was born on a solar eclipse!!! What a loon!!! Freak!!!! He's definitely a child who has walked this earth before...

On the slightly funnier side, as he is over at his dad's and his dad still believes all he watches is Scooby Doo.... Poor lad, has to keep all talk of SPN dormant inside him over his holiday... [we tend to keep really quiet about that one, not a word to Daddy] All those pent up questions, thoughts, theories.... floating around in his head about the show... All that love for Dean, Sam, Jensen and Jared... [and Ruby... He loves Ruby] ... I am seriously in for such a treat when he returns!!!!

Quote:
Did you get around to watching DA yesterday?
Actually, no... not yet... I had a sleep in today... then got up and made two mugs of coffee and went back to bed again... I started watching two shows back to back on morning daytime TV! The first one was the usual house selling one... Couple were choosing between four houses... and after they spent the whole show arguing about kitchen size, attic space, bathrooms that had stand up showers in it or not and garden spaces big enough for a hot tub and a duckpond [with real ducks]... they eventually went off and chose not one of them anyway!!!

The other show was a bit more interesting ..if not more sad... and particularly morbid!!! It centred around the fact that some people die in UK each year without leaving a will and then these companies then all have a race to see if they can find any surviving family etc... to give inheritances to, for a tidy commission of course!!!

So three of these companies were trying to each get to this guys house before the other to tell him that his long lost brother [whom he actually didn't know even existed, I have to add]... died and left him with an estate worth over £300,000!!! Yep, not a amount of money to be sneezed at, by any means... What these idiots didn't even think about, of course was the fact that the guy might have been shocked or upset about his brother dying... but no... in they went... ploughing in for all they could get out of him!!! He was going the whitest shade of white I have ever seen as they were each with him... one after the other, and yet... on they went!!! Oh It was true carcrash TV!!! Horrible tacky stuff... and yet I watched it... Kind of wondering how the whole thing worked... Awful stuff... I can't empasise that enough!!! Anyway, after another coffee, I will settle down to some DA!!!

I hate days off work... There is really so much to do around this house but I dunno.... just can't seem to make a start on it.... Oh I feel a plea from Smiley's heart coming....

OK Jensen, you have to do something really bad now... So I will get all mad at you and then you will have left me with no choice but to go do some Angry Housework cause I will be in a sulk!!!

Go on... Do something really evil.... I won't tell anyone!!! :shush:

In fact, just pick that apple up there beside you and lob it off Jared's head.... Not too hard, mind you... It's, to the best of my knowledge... only Sam's cheekbones that recover fast! Go on... Go all evil...Make him really cranky!!!

Then, if you also wouldn't mind, just standing there quietly so that Jared in turn could pick up the nearest object to him and lob it straight at you... sort of payback... Make you mad too... Yep.... Smiley will get so much more done if you are both mad!!! I might even fit my garden into today too, if ye carry the fight into the evening!!!!

Have a good day all....

Aren't you so gald you met me on this board! I know the feeling though, I thought I would never be as committed to a TV show as I was to Buffy, but than came Lost (but as far as Lost-nerds go, I was very tame, I have to add), then came PB and after that I discovered SPN and while Lost and PB both let me down (PB more so than Lost - Lost has the chance to make up for it with the coming season), SPN never did.

Yep. That kind of humour is priceless and telling a great story in addition to making it fun is admireable.

That sucks. Happens to me too, sometimes.

Well, I have to say I've seen the "clawing out of one's grave" thing before, namely in Kill Bill and on Buffy, if memory serves right, S6 of Buffy began with here clawing out her way of her grave as she sacrficed herself at the end of S5. But she wasn't topless. And it is a totally cool thing to do.
I have read the Official Companions for SPN S1 & 2 and EK has said that some eps have been inspired by Buffy. Inspired, but they did it well, imo, it never was a rip-off.

I didn't like Ghostfacers. I realise it was very well done, but I have two major complaints: a) far too little screen time for Sam & Dean and b) I get dizzy with this style of handheld camera.
When I told E. that there might be a 30's horror movie ep in store, he thought it's very cool. Did you watch the Comic Con clips? We will get a "Back to the Future" ep, too. They did great with Myster Spot- Groundhog day ep, but while I am confident the "movie-themed" eps will turn out great, I think they shouldn't go overbord with them, I don't want every other ep to be a movie themed one.

EK admitted that he reads online what the fans think, sadly he won't ever read this, as we are in Jensen's thread and he probably doesn't think there's anything else in here than "OMG Jensen is so hot" posts.

Have you seen that: http://www.tvguide.com/Video/
There's a thread about it too: http://forums.buddytv.com/supernatur...er-kripke.html

I just watched ep 13 of S4 Smallville (does Jensen get contiunally less screentime as the season goes on or am I imagining things?) and I think I know why Tom got the role of clark: bright blue and red suit him better than it does Jensen. They not so subtle clad Tom in the Superman colours so even I, who is not so quick to pick up on these kind of things, can't help but notice. Jensen looks better in the subdued, darker colours he wears in SPN, which doesn't mean he should always wear so much of them!

Lost, I never got... just didn't appeal to me1 Buffy -Big sale on in store at the moment. DVD's are down to under £20.00 for whole seasons! PB 3 is currently undergoing a price war in a few stores... I reckon it will go down to about £22.00 for whole set. SPN 3 is going to be about £20.00 give or take a bit!!!

You are so right... Calena... we owe such a huge apology to Jensen... I mean, what were we thinking... going so off topic in here.... talking about SPN, DA, Smallville... Lunchboxes... Alien Childbirths etc.... Oh Lordy.... We have sooooooooo sinned against the awesome Jensen!!! How will he ever ever forgive us???

I really must rectify our biggest error on here yet... this very second!!!

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMOMGOMGOMG... JENSEN!!! YOU ARE SOOOOOOOO HOT!!!! WE LOVE YOU !!! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!

Do you think he will have forgiven us now Calena???

Actually, AJ's dad is originally scottish, born not too far from Edinburgh. Hence why his grandparents are still up there! I used to date a portuguese guy for 18 months or so. It ended a while ago. He still lives nearby and we remain good friends!

Yeah but you have to imagine the differences between an usually loud happening house like ours when AJ is about here and now, when it is just me!!! I hate watching TV without him. We have been likened, you know, to the Gilmore Girls in how we watch our TV shows...
We talk our way thru them, commenting on everything from facial expressions to table place settings!!! We mimic accents... pull plots well apart and laugh for ages... too long at time over the most stupidest of random things.... Seriously.... It can't be understated how much I am missing him about the house this week! The TV is on only for the essentials!!! Haven't watched a Simpsons ep all week!!! In fact I have Sky +'ed alot of the shows we usually watch so we can watch them together when he gets back!!! I would never think of looking at them without him!!!!

Slightly off topic for a sec... I know, Jensen, many apologies... You can smack me later!!!

One of my kids in class yesterday brought me in this book of random facts that we had a great long look at yesterday! I swear there was so many amazingly weird facts etc... in this book that I was nearly crying by the end of the session with laughter!!!

Like this one.... I swear this had tears streaming down my cheeks....

In 1980, in Texas.... Their Yellow Pages phone book had a listing for a Texan Funeral Home under the wrong area in book.... They had it in the 'Frozen Foods' section instead!!!

Oh I swear... Even no matter how hard I try, I couldn't make this stuff up....

And did you know that .... when flushed, a toilet usually flushes in the key of E flat.... Yep, some scientist idiot obviously had nothing else to doing the business on the 'throne' one day....

The Late Pope John II was an honoury Harlem Globetrotter....

And three very amazing HEAD facts.....

One of these, particularly.... will interest you so much more then the others Calena... I know... I found it intriging!!!

* King Charles I's head was sewn back unto his body after his execution so that his portrait could be painted!!!

** Banging your head against a wall will burn 150 calories an hour...

And the very best one....

*** It IS medically possible to keep a fully severed head alive for quite a while!!!

Seriously... It's in this book!!!!

BTW, a little known Irish food fact.... We Irish apparently are the largest comsumers of Baked Beans in the entire world.... according to this book!!!

Oh I could go on for days... He gave me this book to take home to read today...

What company?
You could get them at amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Supernatural...7520417&sr=1-2

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Supernatural...7520417&sr=1-3

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Supernatural...7520417&sr=1-4

I don't have the monster's book, only the Companions. Some of the things in there we already read in the mags, but it's still nice to have them.

Of course I would gladly order them for you on amazon.de and send them to you, but they would be more expensive that way than you just ordering them on amazon.co.uk

Oh, is that so? that indeed would explain many things on PB. They could have given the real Sara head in the box, having it on life support cleverly hidden in the box's double bottom and after Linc let the box go they just reattached it.

Ok then .... Smiley has started her quest of watching Dark Angel...
Have to admit... first glance, I thought... very Terminator like... won't get it! But have to admit, so far I am enjoying it!

Started, as requested on Pollo Loco, ep near the end of S1... Yep... We went straight to Jensen.... Calena.. Would you mind, for future reference giving Smiley a little future notice when and if we are to expect to see Jensen's bare torso... I was sitting there taking it all in... quiet... until bam! Bare torso.... I didn't stop saying OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.... out really loud for a further five minutes!....
I can't be doing that when AJ gets back as he tends to bounce shoes and things off my head at these times... He tells me to.... 'Suffer in silence'!!! ... Oh yes... He uses that exact phrase....
Anyway, back to story... I know... I did try to get back to it! Cracker of a story... well except for the pulling teeth bit.... Oh Lordy... If there is anything on this whole earth I detest more then teeth that have just been taken/lost out of a mouth I have yet to find it!!! I was seriously retching at that one! Story good though, Ben dying at the end... kind of saw that one coming... He died well though!!! So ok... it had my attention... Yet again... the all knowing Calena got that one right!!!
Onto pilot... yes... Smiley did a flashback to very first ep... much like the show does...
And boy was it a long one... I got the story... and reckon AJ will get into it... although he may stop it an odd time to comment over Jessica Alba... I am sure she was the same lass in Fantastic Four...
Anyhow, I will continue watching it later today after work....

Speaking of work... Got to scoot...
Have a good day all

Oh Jensen... Aren't you looking awesome today?

ROFL. smiley, I'm so glad that you now have seen the ep from which the towel pic in your av is taken! Aren't you?

I rewatched the first 3 eps of season 2 lately and - take a deep breath - Jensen gets shirtless in every single one of them at one point or another!!!! It's so easily, naturally and elegantly incorporated into the story, it doesn't feel like they just wanted to provide eye candy for the girls who nagged their boyfriends for oggling Jessica Alba at all See, EK, that's how it can be done! He is also shirtless for quite some time in "Berrisford Agenda". And wet, as he is in a swimming pool. You really might wanna watch that one alone first before you let AJ join you, - I just remember, you watched it already on youtube, didn't you?

So, have I earned your trust now?
DA is not as great as SPN, but it surely is worth watching, even Jensen-less S1.

LOL..... AJ is seriously going to throw objects and bounce them off my head if I make any Ooooohhhhhh-ing comments about Jensen at all in this one.... God, it's bad enough having him shout at me during SPN....
Maybe you could let me know what ones Jensen stays dressed in so I can look like I am really paying attention to each and every detail!

Talking of saying things out loud... engaging mouth before brain..... I stopped down in local shop to pick up a paper on my way to work this morning and as I was getting my paper, I glanced up at shelf and saw the latest mag with Angelina & Brad plus new babies... And then it came.... The comment to beat all comments.. right out of my mouth... '' God, not even one ugly baby??? '' Oh Lordy... hahaha... well it was funny at the time... so was the fact that a group of us just stood there looking at these babies... getting all clucky!!!
Well, It was one of those ... you have to be there moments....

Berrisford Agenda... yep saw that ep.... swimming pool bit and all....

Of course I do, Yep, managed to watched pilot last night... very interesting... it has my attention... at least for another while... I reckon AJ might like it too... It's just the right amount of different for him... yep... I think we will settle down next week and watch it together.... Until then though, I will watch it ep by ep!!!

Well looky here... guess what.... Lana has yet another cut on her forehead.... Gee whizz, that makes like the millionth one this season so far.... You can always rely on Lana to do her bit as spokesperson for the headbangers of this world!!!

Btw... Smallville, is well boring without Jason T and with Lex just stuck in his mansion ... He rarely if ever leaves that place these days...
And it's true that Clark has taken to wearing these subtle shades of red and blue.... Lana knocked out on ground again... Wow... that's a new one -haven't seen that since... um.... last episode!!!!
