Hey, I thought The Hitcher wasn't a bad movie. It was a little....um...uncomfortable to see him in such a role, which I guess means he's done his job. And I really like his nose for some reason. I think I kind of like a good, strong nose.

Well... have to admit ... his nose is not exactly the first thing I think about when I think of Sean Bean.... but no matter.... Smiley could make a start there though....

Oh I dunno.... It's not such a bad movie, I kind of pity the poor kids in it though, you just know that they are for the chop at any second....

Seriously they have more lives then Sara Tancredi.... They just narrowly missed being flattened by a huge red truck.... Such a pity poor Smallville's Jason didn't have them about to help him avoid that huge meteor....

Ahhh now he's coming after them with a mother of a shotgun.... really some kids have all the luck.....

I wouldn't say it's always the first thing I look at, but I certainly notice more if it's a strong nose. It's always those stubborn kids, isn't it?

It's just over and oooohhhhh..... not spoiling anything ... but at least one of those 'pesky kids' ain't coming back to do a sequel..... and poor Sean... well that voice.... Oh sweet Lord.... it's not fair to have Sean playing such a baddie role.... us girlies just can't hate him not matter what he does...

It wasn't such a bad one really.... I remember the Rutger Hauer one.... that was a cool movie...

On the funny side, it kind of takes me back to when I once invited a guy, that I had just recently started dating, round to my house for a meal & a DVD movie thing.... and thinking that I would be alright trusting him to go get DVD if I made the meal.... Don't know why I thought he would have come back with something slushy.... well anyway, he came back with the sodden ... ''Chainsaw Massacre ... The Beginning!!! '' .... seriously not funny.... I hate follow ups.... This one just went from bad to worse... the movie I mean.... One would think the title would suggest that many many people were killed in this thing.... I only counted about ten in the whole movie.... What a waste of a damn good film title, I feel!!!

Now, I am going to give 'The Sentinel' with Michael Douglas & that lass from DH, a go, seeing that it's been on my sky+ for months, sandwiched in between some SPN 3 eps....

Well I suppose some noses look better then others.... I have a really button shaped nose, myself.... it's a funny little one... not unshapely... just looks a bit button shaped... so I have been told....

Ahhhh come on... Less then five minutes into this Sentinel movie and Smiley can already guess that Michael Douglas & The presidents wife are more then just friends.... Ohhh I swear.... I really do read too much into these things.... They'll be in a room together in no time.... mark my words....
And as for Keifer and that lass from DH.... Well they are just festering away there.... you know what's coming.... ohhhhh.... but first... I'm guessing Mikey & the pres' wifey..... yepp.... any moment now....

I liked him in this role and thought he did well to portray the character the way he did. I was certainly impressed, uncomfortable, and disturbed--all at the same time.

Hm. That sounds like a more recent date..sounds like my kind of guy....lol..I actually liked that movie, too. It wasn't half bad for what it was, but I still don't think the newer horror movies are as good as the older ones. Most may be entertaining and gruesome, but I feel they lack in a certain authenticity.

A button-shaped nose? Sounds like a nice nose to me. Mine is rather, well, words cannot describe by nose....it's been through a lot. I guess it sort of looks like a troll nose, but I try to be positive and say it looks like one of those pretty trolls you buy from the toy store...you know, the ones with the jewels in their bellies. I have actually been told I look like those things, too.

Who? Sean Bean or Michael Douglas....
I was right, btw... They did get a room....

Ohhh it was , only a few months ago actually.... Lol.... You can have him... stupid idiot, fell asleep on me... Lol!!! Who falls asleep thru The Chainsaw Massacre??? Honestly, .... The whole point of having a horror type flick with a guy is that you can both use them to cuddle up to when scared and use them for a punchbag when you get carried away as you watch the good guys fight the baddies.... There is no point having a guy there beside you if he only goes and nods off when your life is at risk.... Stupid boy!!!

It didn't last too long after that, tbh... cause he had this really unhealthy obsession with vacuum cleaners... He talked about them incessantly... Seriously, who in their right minds, brings up the topic of vaccuum cleaner flexes and the strength of them in the middle of a crunch date and expects it to be a long lasting one???

I know Smiley appears to be a bit fussy in the dating department here... but seriously, Am I asking too much here??? ... Not to fall asleep on smiley[who, btw has made a huge effort to be nice!!!] .... during a horror flick AND not to talk Hoovers and every nook & cranny of them all in the one night.... I know, I'm being picky.... Oh I am such high maintenance!!!

We did go thru a spate of likening you to one of those trolls from the 80's ... the ones with all the bushy hair... I can't believe it's that bad though....
I have had to have surgery done on my nose a few times. Had a car accident when I was about 8 years old. Lost my sense of smell because of it. The correct term for it, is 'anosmia.' I have had to have my septum [middle nose dividing bone] also reconstructed.

Oh Lordy, this Sentinel movie really going nowhere.... I might just delete it and hunt about for another horror one....

He fell asleep on you? Talked abut vacuum cleaners? Who is this guy? Seriously, although it is a bit strange, it makes me curious. You are being silly, right? There was no vacuum talk, right? Oh, and when he fell asleep, did he snore?

The way I remember it, things weren't so....um...becoming. Wasn't it those ugly trolls I was compared to? That's how I remember it....ugly, cave dwelling troll....or was it a bridge? Anyway, I try not to think of it in terms of being "that bad" and try to choose the cuter trolls for comparison instead. May not be sexy, but I guess they are kind of cute. And if it's not trolls, it's fairies and elves--much better than coming up with negative-inducing thoughts. I know someone who lost their sense of smell due to surgery. They spent at least 10 years without smell, but they eventually got their sense of smell back. I guess it's better late than never. I've broken my nose a few times myself...or actually I didn't break it, other people and objects broke it for me. I've been thinking about having it worked on due to nerve sensitivity and loose cartilage. I don't know if they can fix it or will have to remove it. Hopefully it isn't that bad.

No I am soooooooo not joking about this one!!! For once, I am seriously not joking about this one.... !!! He did fall asleep... told me he was at some vaccuum convention thing, prior to coming over to me that evening..... btw, I forgot to add he actually sold hoovers... yeah, I know.... but hey you know what.... some times you pick up a gem, when you are out & about!!! This time was the obvious exception!!!

btw, he didn't snore.... but he did sprawl himself out on my couch and left me balancing on the edge rather a bit too much... Worse still, he didn't even flinch when I was using him for a punchbag during the more gory bits.... I had given up snuggling into him at that stage!!!

I kicked him out after the movie finished...
And there's more.... seriously you don't think his dinner conversations about hoovers could possibly get any more rivetting then the flexes chat.... [which to quote the lovely Dean... was a real page turner, btw]...

But, unmercifully, he then suggested, that I get all my girlfriends together on a night later that week and have a .... wait for it... this is good............ ''Vaccuum Party''.... Where he could try and sell them some and I could get some commission.... He totally lost me at that point.... well actually, he lost me ages before that... but you know... for amusement sake only .... I had to hang in there for another while... we were having such fun!!!

Sad to say, we never did get round to booking that really exciting Hoover Party.... I know... What a blast that would have been??? I feel soooooooooooo cheated..... I could look him up and book him for your special night, if you still want him, that is.....

Ahhhh you're one of those really nice friendly trolls whatever one you are....

I don't miss certain aspects of not having a sense of smell.... I don't smell dirty nappies, vomit, and general kids smells.... I can't also smell leaking gas, which worries me every now and again... makes me more alert around mine and other peoples houses... nearly blew up my aunts house once by not noticing the gas was left on, but that's a story for another day...
I also have to have a good mate or a guy with me when I go to buy perfume... I don't know what one smells the best on me... where as others do, Likewise, I do feel sorry for guys I date, cause they tend to cover themselves in layers of aftershave etc... in an effort to impress, much the same as we would do.... and I don't smell a thing... not a zip!!! That bit I miss...
I also don't honestly understand how someone can walk into a room hours later and still say they smell an orange citrus smell in it....
I also would love to know what a guys hair smells like fresh after they have shampooed it, after being in a shower... I'm guessing that would be a good smell....

Smiley, oh Smiley....you should have booked that party and then had him "demonstrate" the effectiveness of the vacuum. Then you would have had your whole house vacuumed for you, and all you would have to do is watch! You should offer to have him host all his parties at your house so you never have to vacuum again. I wanted how he is with kitchen floors, brooms, and mops. Sounds like a gem to me....does he know how to cook, too? I swear, I think he could be the one, the one I have been in quest for all these years.

...or I could be a fairy or an elf...whichever lifts the self-esteem the most for that day.....
