@Jana: I can image how hard it is to wait. When I started watching SPN, the first 2 seasons had already been aired in the US and as I watch them in English I could watch all those eps back to back and didn't have to wait too long for season 3. Now of course I have to wait for S4 like everyone else and it's horrible!
BTW, how old are you today and Happy Birthday again.

Hey girlie. Why can't you use the fan? What kind is it? Sorry, but I am confused here.
Just a normal, little fan. I suspect that it's one of the culprits for my aching back, so I think I better not use it. A thunderstorm has been promised, maybe we'll get a little bit of cooler weather.

BTW I'm going to watch Hancock tonight, have you girlies already seen it and if so, what did you think?

Quote:
'' He needs to revisit many aspects of electricity, particularly conductors & insulators''

^^^ Sure.... I'll be more then happy to help him more with that one when I get my Electrical Engineering Degree during the summer in time for September... !!!!

BTW... He's a month off 9 years old.... I really dread to think what he'll be covering next year.... I better start swotting now!!!
Wow. What school do you send AJ to, an elite private school? We don't cover elictricity in that depth until the kids are 13, 14 in our schools. I'm sure Teacher Scofield would be happy to help out - he might have more fun helping AJ than doing candy's and your gardening work!

Calena, I will send you a copy of his full report... you might appreciate some of the 'reading between the lines', polite teacher comments... that adorns each page!!!
Wow, that will be an intersting read! We don't give verbal comments to our pupils, only marks - numbers, but I've read and written my fair share of evaluations for the purpose of determining wether a kid needed special education or not. Frankly I hate to do it, but reading it is always interesting.

Really, you are into Lex? He's the bald guy, isn't he? Well, I'm currently watching House, got addicted to it somehow, but I will check out Smallville S4. What I don't get, did the Jason character turn bad in the end, or did he involuntarily blow up the Kent house?

A million thanks to you Calena, btw... your unexpected package arrived early this morning! Just in time for our visit to the local cinema! Our local cinema here, charge only £1.50 per kid with an accompanying adult free to watch some older movies at 10.30am on weekend mornings, I believe they also run the scheme during the holidays! They also choose movies that are suitable for kids that kind of run up to the coming release of others... This morning, it was the movie Chronicles Of Narna, the Prince Caspian one is just about to be released here. Anyway, both AJ and Edward[mmmmm's lad] chomped their way thru every single gummy sweet going... mmmmms came along with her 8month old as well who slept thru most of it!!! AJ thanks you heaps for the footie stickers etc.... He hasn't left them out of his hands yet.... Thanks again
Ps..... Can never ever have enough Tupperware.....
Haven't yet seen Hancock, btw... I was invited out to see Mamma Mia tonight, again at the cinema... but I dunno yet, I am not such a big ABBA fan... the whole idea of being stuck between four walls hearing nothing but them for 2hours plus doesn't really excite me at all... Maybe I'm wrong though... Colin Firth is in it.... Might pull myself there just for him!!!

Nope AJ goes to a good school, but an ordinary one... He's happy there. Personally, I think they learn far too much in a way.... seriously you would want to have a degree in quite a few subjects to tackle into some of his homework each week... Talking of homework, this weeks lot includes some nature study out in our back garden and keeping a diary of various creatures who appear in the garden between now and next wednesday morning... we are talking birds, animals, worms, slugs.... whatever... and there is a polite little note tactfully aimed at parents thru the child... that accompanies this homework... something along the lines of.... ''Prehaps an adult could keep your diary up to date, whilst you are away from it... ie. at school during day, etc...... but you must ask them, not expect this!!!''
Well that told me then, should I be off here and away from this for large periods of time over the next few days... I won't actually be far, I will just be conversing with all things slimy and slithery out in our back garden... that's fully paved btw.... next door has about 50 cats, so it's pretty much free of birds too at the moment... I suppose we could always pretend our rabbit Whistler changes form into many different creatures frequently... Ohhh I can see us making alot of this c**p up... big style!!!!
Talking of Teacher Scofield.... I very much could have done with his expertize that weekend when I had to try and help him make a workable torch out of a plastic milk bottle, a battery and a roll of black tape.... Well, eventually it worked.... if only for a very short time...

I could also see if I could root out last years one for you too.... I swear they were talking about a different child in that one.... That was even funnier...
Btw, another funny thing written in the geography part of his report was.... and I quote...
'' He has enjoyed our dramatic re-enactment and predictions based on the Hurricanes''!!
Yep.... I was kind of thinking too... How they managed to re-enact a hurricane in their little classroom... I'm kind of actually frightened to ask him in case he doesn't stop talking about Hurricanes for a full hour....
Oh I'll just send it to you... You could do with a laugh.... the report, not the Hurricane ... or him...

He has pretty much grown on me.... I don't know why... I once dated a guy quite like him in looks... anyway... I do love my bad boys....
Jason character was fine one minute... sweet as anything... Lana was just swept up with the whole Jason charm... btw... there is a scene half way thru season, as Jason gets out of a car after chatting to his mother in it... [yes, his mother turned up... he went a bit mental after that... damn her!!! ] Anyway, he's standing there, in the rain... pouring rain... dripping wet.... well darn it if I didn't have to play that bit over and over and over again....

IMO... There are some in this world who are just born to look good when standing out in the drippy rain... I'm not one of them, btw... I resemble more of a half drowned cat, then anything else, but no matter... back to standing in the rain.... Jensen, is one of those chosen few.... closing credits as the camera just stalls at him standing there totally wet thru.... rain bouncing off him.... They could have done a whole ep on that, IMO.... They could have just totally ignored whatever Clark was doing for the whole ep.... yep... just put him out there standing in the rain... at the very beginning and just watched him drip wet for the next hour... You'll see exactly what I mean when you see that bit!!!

Anyway... Jason and his character! Mum turns up and after a tad bit of a half arguement with her about how he was born to protect Lana etc.... he then sort of just gave up... it was kind of odd!!! I could just see the end was nigh for him soon after... IMO... He had a bit of a dark side, if he stayed on that show and not gone elsewhere, he could have still worked for Lex while trying to bring him down at the same time!!! That was an interesting showdown of sorts!!!

Talking of Lana, what exactly does Lana do in that Talon place... I could never quite work that one out!!! There really doesn't ever seem to be that many customers in it, and what's more good old Martha also helps her out... Seriously, I dunno know the answer to this one... It's one of life's mysteries, I suppose!!!!

Also with Jason character, IMO... we didn't see half enough of Coach Teague running all those guys up and down that field... Damn Lana... she ruined all that royally for the rest of us!!! Yeah, don't you dare say I am being too hard on her....the Jezebel.... You'll be saying the exact same thing, when you see him turn his back on the School Football League for the final time thru the season.... When he never gets to wear that red outfit again.... You'll even find yourself lost for a bit.... until he shows up again, looking not so hurt and devastated..... BTW... That was Lana's fault too... Something really has to be done about that girl....

Anyway, back to Lex in Smallville.... I'm rooting for him now... yep.... Lex.... I am fast becoming a fan of the Baldy Bad Boy!!!

Thank God you got it, you have nooooo idea how hard it was for me to let nothing on, with you telling me you will send me the mag. I so wanted it to be a surprise.
I also envy you because we don't get mail on Saturday, only Monday to Friday.

I'm also weary of that Mamma Mia film, but what we wouldn't do for nice looking lads ...

For what subject was that - is the teacher a McGyver fan?

And because he was wet anyway, they could have had him take off his shirt!!!!
And I will use this venue right now to say: Eric Kripke, I want at least one love scene with each of the boys in S4 - we had one with Dean in S1, with Sam in S2 and S3 was a total letdown in that respect (and in that respect only) - I don't count that strange and utterly unncessary dream sequence with Sam and Bela. Unecessary because we got to see more of Bela than of Sam! However when I pointed out to E. yesterday that this scene was wholly useless he was quick to disagree.

BTW, as much as I thought I really knew him, according to his report.... he excels at maths ...[I thought he hated it with a passion] AND more alarmingly..... He really really really enjoyed studying... ABORIGINAL ART!!! I swear, the more I read this stuff... the more I realise I know as little as you do about him!!!!

yeah.... At least ONE, and more.... As we were well cheated of the love scenes last season.... Must keep the fans happy.... we'll leave otherwise.... really we will..... we will.... ohhh who am I kidding... we're going nowhere...
Would be nice to go nowhere watching a slightly more lightly dressed Sam and Dean....
Dear Eric.... We love you... we love you ... we love you....
Calena, do you think that might work????

No smiley, you really can keep your bills, I got enough of my own!

Aboriginal, like in Australia - Aboriginees? Amazing what subjects AJ's school has!

Weeeeeell.... If I was EK I would wonder why, if all the girls loved me so much, they want to see J2 bare torsoed so badly.
But see, EK, our love for you goes beyond the outer appearance, that's even better isn't it! So do us a favour and introduce the "Vanishing Clothes" demon next season!

I reckon Dean should come back from Hell with his clothes all still possessed by a really bad demon and he has to rip them off really quick or they will ruin him forever... leave so many marks of pure badness on him and all...

In fact, what he should do is come back from Hell... like Arnie did as Terminator.... totally naked ... not even a pair of sunglasses in sight... and then make him search for a set of suitable clothes for the entire first ep.... maybe have the second ep recap the first... we might have forgotton it from the first week so maybe a full half hour recap there would do... and then the second half of the 2nd ep... would have him be so weak that he had to dress himself really slow.... stopping at each stage so the viewers could well view him accomplishments and gauge just how well he is coping outside the confines of Hell....

That saying though... I really like the idea of the 'Vanishing Clothes' Demon.... One like the Trickser who can never die.... supposedly!!! One that keeps reappearing in some form or another in practically every single ep in S4 and keeps running into Dean and Sam!!!!

Calena... I'm beginning to think we are obsessing a wee bit too much about this.........

Of course now that we have given Mr. K. a suitable and extremely workable way to bring Dean back from Hell, I'm struggling to think how we can also find a way to also make Sam do a bit of a strip tease.... hmmm..... maybe, he is so down and inconsolable over the loss of his beloved brother Dean that he, in the very early weeks and months, takes to wearing every single item of clothing belonging to Dean as a mark of respect.... and therefore as he is fighting the sweat overload... decides to rip off all his clothes and Deans like Clark Kent does... as he just can't take no more!!! It just happens to co-incide with a naked Deans appearance....

So ep 1 could actually deal with both brothers not yet meeting, totally naked ... searching accross the whole of the US looking for suitable attire....
Ep2 then, takes up the story, after a fairly lengthy ep1 recap with them finding suitable clothing but somehow, taking an age to put them on... due to the fact that we, the viewers get to meet, for the very first, but not the last time [as he/she will of course be back again due to excessively popular demand...] ... The 'Vanishing Clothes' Demon... the biggest badass Demon of them all.... They will then fight him/her to keep him from ripping their clothes to shreds.... over and over... while we of course stay obsessively glued to see out the end to this amazingly awesome battle of wills!!!!

I swear we are wasted ... just sitting here on our beautiful rear ends typing and giving all our wonderful ideas away....

It's not our fault, what are we supposed to do during the long waiting period until season 4 starts with them constantly pushing back the starting date!

EK should hire us already! So many SPN fans would thank him for that when our wonderful ideas are made into the show! And as I stated earlier, if he doesn't want to pay cash, time with J2 would do.

Onto a slightly more SPN related thing that you brought to my attention somewhere over in a PB thread.... Crossroads... and summoning a Crossroads Demon!!!

Your comments about there being a serious lack of crossroads unpaved with either aspalt or tar etc.. in your area, got me to thinking , if I were given that job of finding a demon at a crossroads etc... how far would I have to travel around this area to find one!!! And more so, what sort of implement/tools/digger etc would I need to dig before mentioned hole in order to summon the C.R.Demon!!!

See, I agree with you, sodden roundabouts are a demons best enemy here in the UK!!! Try as I might.... I just couldn't think of a crossroads anywhere within maybe 10-15 miles of me that didn't already have a huge big raised roundabout in the middle of it... what's more... they are not left alone just to be all grassy... I wondered too if we could have got away with that one... if we dug a hole in the middle of one, by removing a clump of grass... but no! Here in UK, every sodden council thinks it best to whack a bloody great big tree in the middle that sheds leaves and then all around the tree they put nice little flower beds with the town name in letters marked out by various flower species... Personally I can't see a demon ever appear in a flower bed... so I'm guessing those are also out... I struggled here to also work out how I was going to get a digger up on top of that roundabout too... without making a complete mess of every surrounding flower bed etc... on it.... I was guessing that an ordinary shovel wouldn't have worked in this situation and would draw far too much attention to my cause anyway....

Which leads me to where I actually know where my nearest known quieter out of the way... relatively flat level crossroads are [unpaved with either aspalt, tar, or flowers/trees of any kind]... And it is in my parents local village deep in the heart of the West Of Ireland....

So then, should I be ever presented here, with a need for summoning a demon, I'll just root out my passport, maybe pack an overnight bag, drive over across town to our local airport, spend maybe the best part of an hour trying to find a safe place to park the car... go thru airport security checks... wait hours in airport to board a plane that no doubt will be running late due to 'technical difficulties'... then arrive in Dublin Airport, spend the next hour waiting to get my bag from conveyer belt... drive round in a few circles round Dublin Airport Grounds trying to find the exit out of it due to manic Irish drivers who love cutting you up on the inside lane.... then face the three & a half hour journey down towards the West.... possibly with my beloved Dad driving, 'Watching Grass Grow' either side of the car as we drive... doesn't even begin to describe that ordeal.... we call him Fred Flintstone, btw... as I reckon, we'd be quicker walking!

Then about 16 hours later, once we stop on way down for some tea and one of my dads infamous 'quick naps'.... we arrive home... drop the bags and then after a quick cuppa... got to get the parents then in bed as telling them that I am off down to the local crossroads to summon a demon usually wouldn't go down that well in my house... you never know, they might surprise...

We could make it a big family affair... Dad, could even kill two birds with one stone at the same time, by checking on all our horses and fixing a few random fences on the way there!!!

BTW, also as one road off this crossroads, technically also leads down towards the local pub... chances are I would have lost already any of my remaining family members at that point.... as they would be wanting to summon some of their own demons in the bottom of a few pints of Guinness down there instead... so I'd end up doing it alone... shovel in hand... pitch dark.... angry that I am missing out on an outing to the pub... Ahh the lengths I would go to to summon a demon....

Ok then off down at the local crossroads... btw... technically, even though one may call this a crossroads, one road off it actually goes straight into one of our neighbours fields...a gate actually blocks the road into the field... so technically, to some this might not even be a crossroads, now that I think of it... it might be more a T Junction.... Is there any such thing as a T Junction Demon???

Hmmmm.... Really, I am struggling to find a crossroads anywhere...
Just one of my random lines of thinking today...

BTW, One of my friends just had a 10lb4oz baby boy last week, I met her this morning with her little one... little 'Samuel Dean' ... I kid you not, she has never seen SPN in her life... AJ was wetting himself laughing.... I had to tell him to start walking ahead of us at one stage... so he didn't start telling her of all things SPN and making her think she had just given birth to her own demon...
