14 Days... 9 hours and so many minutes til D Day apparently...
So I am going to close my eyes and pretend that I live in the U.S..... so I will be seeing it too in a week or two!!!

I don't necessarily agree with the assessment made in the article. I don't think S2 was the best Hair season, I think S4 was. There's a screenshot from S3 where she said the Hair was horrible and thought the Hair was great. But it reassures me that other people are occupied with Jared's Hair, too.

It's kind of worrying though, don't you think.... People getting so obsessed with what is essentially just a few strands of hair.... It's not that it's long enough to make a rope with or anything useful like that... LOL...

Hmmm... See IMO, this is the sort of job where the likes of Mr. P is extremely lucky to have , on the set of SPN...the same devoted hairstylist[s] for no doubt some time now ... cause when fame hits one, the hairstylist is often the very first person who sells you out... it's a proven theory time and time again....

Take, for example.... the first man on the moon, Neil Armstrong... A little known fact about him or rather two little known facts about him is that :

[1]: He no longer tends to sign his autograph for anyone because the late Charles Linburgh [he who did the first flight across the US or whatever], advised him not to as his signatures would be not kept as treasures but sold on to others for vast amounts of money, he was going to get none of...

And much more interestingly and more on topic here... [2]: Once on a visit to a random Barbers,... once he left the place, the unscrupulous Barber in question, scooped up all his cut hair and sold it off in batches for vast amounts of money... Armstrong got real depressed over it and totally retreated from the public eye after that.... The hair went for thousands... made the Barber a very rich guy... Armstrong, tried but failed to get it back before it was sold on to others.... Something as simple as that made the once most famous guy on this entire planet retreat into the background, only coming up for air recently at the Moon Landings' 40th Anniversary Do in the US!!!

What.... ???? LOL.... I know this stuff because of not one but TWO reasons.... 1: ... I watch the History Documentary Channel all the time, love the stuff in fact... and 2... I have Mini Me for a son... He's a real nerd for facts like this and is very much an encylopedia of weirdness in every form going... you met him... you know what he's like...

Anyway.... I worry about this whole 'Hair and Jared obsession' at times.... LOL... I hope he doesn't retreat into his own little world cause of all our obsessions!!!

Talking of famous people and their hair.... I woke up yesterday morning, and whilst still in bed... turned TV on and honestly saw a pic of one of my cousins who is quite sporty and does some athletics professionally... on an ad for a butter spread here in UK... The pic in question was an image still taken by some photographer and put online of him getting injured and pulling himself up against some railings with a pained look on his face, during this years London Marathon...

It's funny though... cause if you look at the pic.. there's a giant puddle of water next to him where he is leaning up against some railings... looks like he has done a giant pee, but he actually got back strain and had to pull out of the race near the very end and the water in fact has nothing to do with him at all... The family are having a field day over the whole thing... funny... truly funny...

Anyway.... Mass of curly red hair he has... and he's coming over to me weekend after next to stay as he is running some race here in Bristol... I might just get a scissors and cut some some of that hair to sell on...

I hated Sammy's hair in season 1. I'm a child of the 80s. I hate 70s style anything, basically. I've been heartsick ever since 70s style came back. And those retro haircuts guys are still doing were ugly then and they're still ugly now. It really screwed with Jared's looks. That's part of why I didn't realize how handsome he was then. So, age + much better haircut = niiiiiice!

Alightly more on topic... Ummm... Jared... Well now... Once again due to the fact that the good folks at Living TV here in UK have started showing SPN again right from the beginning... I have had the opportunity to once again watch those early eps... watched 'Phantom Traveller' when I got in from work this evening...
Didn't quite notice it the first time... and it is funny looking back at it now when you know how good and efficient the boys are in later series... but in this they were really walking around in the dark with all that 'Christo' stuff... Jared did a top job in this ep.... Jensen did too... good ep... and the amazing thing is... they keep getting better... little did we know back then that the show could possibly get any better then then.... now if we could just somehow bypass that whole 'Bugs' thing.... ...

And more on Jared... I went to store yesterday to do big grocery shop... Mini Me has been away from this house for most of July and August... due back Monday... and as I eat in work... my fridge has been running pretty empty for a while now... other then milk for my coffee that is... Anyhow... had a look thru DVD Section... Czech Girls... SPN 1 boxset is down to £14.00.. SPN2 .. £14.00... SPN 3 £12.00 & S4 first half currently £18.00... Although, whole sets would be cheaper on Amazon... Advise me about whatever ye want whenever... Whole set of SPN4 is due out here in October, just in time for Ghostfacers Con...

Anyhow... Got MBV2/3D complete with 2 pairs of 3DGlasses for £8.00... Watchman is still priced really high... at approx. £18.00... entirely due to the fact that 'hot butt JDM' is in it, I'm sure... ... and F13th is currently SOLD OUT!!!... yes indeed... mad rush on for F13th it seems... Did also buy 'Twilight' for £7.00... 'The Ring' Boxset 2 movies for £5.00 and 'Bourne Ultimatum for just £3.00... cause IMHO... No home in the world should ever be without some Matt Damon... ...

Of course, Mini Me will love watching 'Twilight' when he gets home... He may strop a bit that I am banning him from MBV for a year or two... it's not the gore that gets him too much... he loves all that stuff... but I dunno... bit too much nakedness for my liking... he's a real weirdo when it comes to all that stuff... actually has tried to shield MY eyes etc... if even the slightest bit of bare skin appears on screen... in fact, he nearly went into complete meltdown mode when that SPN 'Heart' ep was on... tutting for ages, he was too when Dean And Anna were frolicking around in the 'Hallowed Ground' he calls the Impala.... He's still not happy about that one... And apparently, quite randomly... the film 'Titanic' was a really top movie, in his eyes right up until the time Kate Winslett stripped off ....

Hello 80's child... I was one too!!! I liked that whole 80's look too... I tried out various looks... went all dark black for a bit... followed 'The Cure'... I even tried that whole boy shirt with leather lie look... I used to wear every shade and tint of colour under the sun in the same outfit emsemble... and OMG... that whole 'Fame' legwarmer phase... I want to cringe so badly here, but there is a huge part of me that is actually quite proud of those days...

70's stuff... I don't like and never really did... that whole punk look doesn't suit many at all.... and the flares... sideburns and all... awful.... just awful.... There is nothing good about those days fashion... and I am so happy here recently that all these bright coloured things are on their way back... bangles... big hooped earrings... brightly coloured nail varnishes and eye makeup etc..... I don't wear much of the stuff... but it's so cool seeing the kids of today do it all again...
