It's official ... I am rooting for Jared's Dean character in Gilmore Girls... I really hate that Jess... he's a slime!!! I don't like him at all!!! He's just nasty...

Sorry, smiley, I can't back you up here, I'm a Jess girl. He has his faults, but he's well read and intelligent, much more Rory's equal in that area than Dean. In contrast to Dean Jess is intriguing.

Argh, I'm really having physical trouble writing anything negative about Dean, because now Dean for me is and always will be Dean Winchester.

edit: Funny thing: Random words are turning blue and becoming a link after posting. Does this happen to anyone else?
Anyway with this post the word that became a link was "Winchester" and not that they wanted to sell me a rifle, no, they promised me that they'd make it possible for me to add a calendar to my church web site in less than 10 minutes. ROFL. I kid you not. Is there a Church of Winchester? Is that something I could somehow use to my advantage over in my religious discussion with GuardianAngel?

There is a Winchester area/city here in UK... I think it has a cathedral of some sort... It's down near Wessex... London way somewhere I think....

We have more then enough cathedrals etc... up this end to be busying ourselves with to go memorising all the details to this one too...

BTW... It really does, by glancing thru this site seem like Winchester is the happening place to be when they include devotion a whole page to the Weather that happens in Winchester....

AHH heathen.... you of bad character judgement... Dean in this show is a good guy... Jess is just bad! Rory is a real meanie for being so two faced to them both.... Ahhh look how he is trying to make his way back to her... you just know he's going back to her at some stage.... She'll probably... get a bit closer to Jess first... maybe... even... 'Become a woman' with him... .... but she'll go back to Dean... eventually... BTW, I reckon he'll go off and sow some wild oats before finding his way back to her again too....

I love this show... I really don't know why I missed it first time round... It must have been because I got it confused with that McLaods Daughter's Outback one.... I thought for some reason the GiGi show was set out in the outback.... a kind of Sons&Daughters/Flying Doctors one.... I'm guessing that's why I chose to ignore it first time round....

It was down to you again Calena, that I took up watching this show... I swear these shows, should pay you some commission for all the advertising you drum up for them....

And then there's Dark Angel.... Oh I don't know if I can go from lovely Jared to lovely Jensen... all in the one day.... My heart can't take it.... Cause seriously... that murderous feline monster can detect irregular heart rythms.... It's then, the damn thing will pounce and finish me off.....

As I said before... It's the power of Jared.... He was really really good at all that 'Wax On, Wax Off' aproach when washing Rory's car... in every second episode!!! He carried that box of her CD's and bits to her, that was left over in his house since before they split up... without much trouble!!!
And boy... Did he look hot in that green shop pinny.... well... OMG... Strike me down dead, if Smiley didn't just cover the floor with drool and saliva every time a shot of that came into frame!!!
Ahhh Calena... You are miles too hard on Dean Forrester... He epitomises to many what their very first true love was like... I had a 'Dean' like him as my first love... He was the best.... so like him in every single way... even down to the fact he used to rush straight back to me ... straight from coming from some Butchers Convention or other.... A whole weekend, learning how to cut up a pig... lovely... and to think... he was so excited about it all.... Our first hour together consisted of a quick catch up welcome back snog... [of about ten minutes].. and then his feedback from his weekend away... Always a treat!!!

No, I haven't. That's maybe why I'm not so fond of the Dean F. character. My first years in high school I wasn't really interested in boys, then I spent about 2 years being hopelessly in love with a guy with whom I had heated discussions about politics, but that was the extent of his interest in me. No matter how many times I listened to "Patience", it never worked out. To make it classic, all the while I crushed on this guy, his best friend crushed on me, but of course I wasn't interested in him. Come to think of it, he might have probably made a Dean-like boyfriend. The 2 guys that came later I had a long term relationship with were both nothing like neither of the Deans.

BTW, I'm on to you smiley, you think you have been very subtle, but I know you moved our chat over here, so Jared's thread will get longer and he won't feel neglected. We haven't been to Jensen's in ages!

See then... I have to say again... I had it the other way round... first a Dean... then a huge load of total no hopers.... Lol.... I look back now and I think OMG... What sort of drugs was I on to even think of dating even half of them let alone the lot of them....

As it was... I had a sort of Jess too around the time my 'Dean' came along.... Debs Dance time.. [or Prom as some call it] met 'Dean' guy when out at a do with mutual friends... initially nothing there for me, but did think that he was a nice guy...

One day later I asked this 'Jess' guy to it... not thinking that 'Dean' guy would even be interested in it...[neither of them were from my actual school at the time...] I was with him for a few weeks on the run up to this night... anyway, he turned out to be a complete idiot... took me out to a pub one night, left me standing there as he went into a neighbouring pub to play pool.... I found out a while later, calmly gathered all my things up and went in to see him...spent the last few pence I hadon a pint for him... brought it over to him and then dumped it over his head... and then said bye and walked off... totally humiliated... and feeling really stupid and a bit vunerable...

As I had stupidly depended as you do on this 'Jess' guy to look after me for the night, I came out with just my jacket and a handbag with mints, some lippy and make up related things in it... not one penny in cash!!! I was totally lost as to what to do next... It was kind of bad enough having to think about calling my father to come and collect me, without not actually having the means to do it as well.... As I said... I was shaking and was more then a bit lost...

I then, on my way running, in tears, out of this pub, ran into this 'Dean' guy ... who had seen what happened and had been the only one to follow me out to check if I were ok.... I stood there opposite him and just cried... He then took me in his arms, calmed me down and took me to local takeaway shop, bought tea for me and then took me straight home afterwards.

He called up to the house again next day to see if I was alright... bringing a bunch of flowers and a big box of chocs... he then invited me out to dinner, his treat... where he gave me a corsage type thing... that idiot 'Jess' did not even think of doing at the prom!... To his credit, he never said a word to my parents about this evening... as far as they were concerned... it never happened...

And it took off from there... a relationship that spanned nearly four years!... I think of him every now and then... We meet occasionally for a coffee when I'm home. He's also very happily married still to the girl he met right aftrer we split... they have three lovely kids too! I have also met her a few times... she know of our history together... She's nice girl, good for him too!
So every now and again... just when I begin to lose faith in guys after coming out of yet another c**p date/relationship... I think back to him and think... yep... They are still about.... The Dean's of this world....

That's why I like that Dean character....
