| After much buzz over the controversial ending of the long-running mob drama The Sopranos, cast members have finally revealed their sentiments over the abrupt and baffling culmination. James Gandolfini, who played the mafia boss Tony Soprano, and the rest of the cast members of the show have nothing but compliments for show creator David Chase. The cast also commends Chase for leaving the viewers guessing after cutting the screen to black for 10 seconds at the series finale, which aired on Sunday, June 10, 2007. | It was as Tony predicted. Remember in the previous episode where Tony dreams he's in the boat, fishing with Bobbie? Bobbie asks what its like to die. Tony says "It's like everything goes to black". It happened just as he predicted! |

| The ending was lame! If everyone went to a movie and it had a black non-ending, they would be irrate. I wont even buy any of the dvd's because the ending ruined everything about the show for me. |

| i think everybody missed the point. i liked the ending, but i also like "kill bill", because i got it.i think most people only saw a bad marital arts movie. the point of the ending is, there is no ending. look at the series. did anything ever work out for tony? did someones death ever solve a problem? if the series continued, tony still would have been worried about someone flipping, or a new boss in NY wanting to take over or the feds arresting him. he will always be watching that guy who went into the mens room, always watching to see who comes through the door of a diner, his children will always disappoint him, he will always find a duck or a horse or a cat to love. he will never be happy with a shrink, but will always look for one. will never stop complaining about his mother. in the last episode he finds out his daughter broke his heart over becoming a Dr. because of him getting arressted. if he wasnt a crime boss he wouldn't get arrested all the time and his daughter would be a |

| i think they couldn't have ended it any better way. everyone was expecting tony to be killed off or put in prison. it was too obvious and predictable. cutting to black and leaving the viewers wondering and speculating was the way to go. it's going to keep a constant interest in the show for a long time. |
