| Moderator ![]() | Looks like the actors will still have things to do...a friend of mine was just signed to do a Pilot TV show set in Boston and Lorraine Bracco and Vincent Pastore are already set to cameo. Called "The Greatest Cooking Show" for now -- they're filming in Boston @ Umbria this Saturday, July 14th and Strega is catering (good food). The premise is, basically, Boston Mafia-wannabes open and support a restaurant to compete with an OFFICIAL Mafia restaurant...makes it sound, almost, like a comedy. I'll post further details as I get them Last edited by Gartism : 07-11-2007 at 03:13 PM. |

| Moderator ![]() | From Boston Herald on July 11: http://thetrack.bostonherald.com/sid...icleid=1010671 That “Sopranos” shrink Lorraine Bracco and her fellow TV goombahs Vincent Pastore, John Fiore and Frank Santorelli, along with Red Sox slugger David Ortiz and New England Patriots fashion plate Laurence Maroney will pitch in this weekend to help Strega sultan Nick Varano with a TV pilot for a cooking show he hopes to sell to the Food Network. “It’s ‘The Sopranos’ meets ‘Entourage’ meets ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ ” reports Dolce Vita Productions poohbah Jeff Kalligheri. With food, we assume. Also -- my buddy, playing a drunk chef, had this to say: I had five scenes I was a part of. We did two before lunch and the other three after. Wouldn't I like to have HIS work schedule.... More to come |
