First-time blogger but all-seasons viewer. I had it with the show last night. If there's anything I detest is someone who uses big words without fully understanding their meaning. That is this Little C character. He drones on and on and when he's done you're left scratching your head and going, "Uh?" Last night I started covering my ears when he spoke, which takes way too much time.
That, coupled with Mary's screaming, just drives my blood pressure up. Then, last night, judges' bias was so obvious that it was downright disgusting. Brandon, who has finally figured out that the less clothes he wears the better his chances, was simply awful, yet he gets a bravo comment for his solo from Nigel, something I've never seen happen during these solos. Coincidentally, he was dancing in his speedos. Evan has become the target for these judges week after week. He has a lot of moxie hanging in there. I'd love to see him win just to rub it in the judges's noses.
Why should I care? I've always been a supporter of dance, from seeing great work at the 91st Street Y in the 60a to seeing Nureyev dance Martha Graham's work in LC. But this has turned into a circus and the clowns are sitting in the judges' chairs.
