So You Think You Can Dance 4: Audition Round 4 Live Thoughts

It's the final night of preliminary auditions on So You Think You Can Dance, and the FOX promo guy promises that they've saved the best for last. Tonight better be good!

The judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy have thus far visited Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Charleston, SC, and Washington, DC. Tonight, they trek into America's heartland to find even more talented dancer to bring to Vegas. Stay with me tonight; I'll be providing you with live thoughts throughout the entire two-hour broadcast.

YAAAAA!!!!... Now if they can make it so that auditions are down to just one 2 hour segment next season... And hopefully tomorrows Vegas session wont just be 2 hours of sitting around waiting to hear... I wanna see some dancin!

Thank God they finally let the first 30 minutes go to the great dancers that haven't been shown yet. It's something. I'll take it.

I thought Susie Garcia was a great dancer! She did a lot of samba techniques and had great spins. I think you were being too judgemental on her Debbie. I'm glad she made it through Vegas to prove you wrong!!

In addition, did we ever see the couple that did that move where the guy was holding the girl just by her legs while she was in the air like she was flying (did that make sense)? I would've liked to see that audition....

Thank goodness it's Vegas Week tomorrow, b/c I have really had it. To Nigel's credit, we mostly saw GOOD dancers tonight, even if it was through a highlights premise (I mean, there was no way they could do two hours on Milwaukee), though Katee and Natalie did nothing for me (but they were BFFs and cute and so we had to put them through!!!).. I was digging Lizz (tapper) and Michael Kim (representing Boston) and felt so sad for Philip and Yesie, but so happy that he made it to Vegas. I am so curious about who makes it, and we have probably seen half of those dancers at most.

Where are all the SYTYCD fans, though? Aren't some Idol fans (like me) on here? A lot of us are over at Blogging So You Think You Can Dance, too:

I'm so glad that we're done with the preliminary auditions too! Bring on the great dancers! As for Susie Garcia, yeah, she was okay, but my beef with her was that she wasn't very precise. She looked like she was mimicking the steps, instead of cleanly executing them. I don't think she will make it past Vegas, but if she does, I'll have egg on my face.
