Okay, I’m going to take issue with So You Think You Can Dance. As I’ve been saying, I’m a big hater of the preliminary audition round. I always loved the Hollywood round for Idol and the Vegas round for So You Think You Can Dance. What I hate is the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus freak show they parade around us for weeks on end in the beginning of each season. All the judges do is complain and moan that these talentless “dancers” are wasting their time yet, those same judges are well aware of the format of the show and agree to sit through the bad auditions. When a talented dancer, with superb technical ability, walked on stage last night, you think the judges would’ve been happy. Instead, they showed him the door and left viewers scratching their heads.

The fact that he wasn't put through is completely ridiculous. He's a great dancer and I feel bad for him. Although he went all diva and acted out when he wasn't invited to Vegas, I still hope he comes back next season because he certainly deserved to go.

I don't think he was put through because he isn't better than the dancers they have previously seen from the season so far and from last season. Yes he is good, but I just don't think he is great.

At the end of the choreography bit there was this part where Anthony sort of looked at the judges !@#!@ily and smacked his partners butt. I heard Mary mutter something (couldn't make it out) but I got the impression that the action didn't sit well with her. I bet that had something to do with them passing on him.

Based on the other dancers they've shown being sent to Vegas, there is NO WAY that Anthony should not be joining them. He is a beautiful dancer. SYTYCD is a learning experience for all the dancers - I'm surprised they didn't allow him to move on and show them what he could learn. It's a loss for all of us! Go Anthony!

I think putting that breaker through from the first episode was ridiculous - they put him straight through to Vegas and we ALL know he can't do ballroom or contemporary. I'm not saying he had to be picked to be top 20, but Anthony HANDS DOWN should have gone to Vegas.

He was definitely talented enough to go through, but I'm thinking it was like they do on American Idol -- you can be talented, but if they think you'll make for boring TV they don't want you. Which is a shame, for sure! However, seeing his attitude in full force after he got cut I find it hard to be too sympathetic toward him. There are much better ways to express your frustration, especially when he had to know this was going to be broadcast on national TV!
