There are people in this world who tune in to the audition rounds of American Idol or So You Think You Can Dance just to watch the talentless people who try to get on television. Those people are not me. I watch Idol for the Carrie Underwoods and the Chris Daughtrys. I watch So You Think You Can Dance for the Sabra Johnsons and the Danny Tidwells of the world. Last night's season premiere of the summertime reality tv show didn't necessarily give us a good idea of who will make the top 20. They filled more than half the time with people who should not only never be allowed to dance but also, never be on television again. To read the rest, click here.

I don't watch any of these shows anymore until at least the "Hollywood" / Top 100 type of rounds. You either have people that really do think they are good and are publicly humiliated or you have people on there purposely making a fool of themselves. Either way it's ridiculous.

Did the producers purposely put on David (AKA Sex) so we tune in?? YES!!! I love the bad auditions because it helps myself and all the other viewers to appreciate the truly talented dancers.

I love the bad auditions. I think there's a lot of people in the world who are totally delusional about their talents, and being humiliated on these shows helps to knock some sense in their heads. However, I do agree that the fame chasers, which is what Sex obviously is, need to go. Don't bother giving them air time.

I like a good mix..seeing bad dancers always gives you a good laugh, but it get's old fast, they just have to bel clever with how they package iut together..show us a couple talented dancers and maybe top it off with a sucky one, just for kicks. ^_-.

I like a mix of both good and bad auditions....preferably more good than bad. What I don't like, however, is the fact that the producers turn away really good dancers during the the early, early rounds of improv auditions just so they can feature the bad dancers on tv. That's horrible b/c for some people this is their dream and they don't deserve to get it taken away from them so we can see a crazy jumping guy in a gold mask. Seriously??

this was the first time i've ever watched this show, and unlike american idol where watching bad singers is funny for me.... watching bad dancers really isn't that enjoyable. i mean, maybe if the bad dancers had a personality and could laugh at themselves, but the bad dancers they show are just awkward individuals. the good dancers were much more enjoyable to watch...

I couldn't even watch Sex - i had to fast forward through his and Golden Inferno's auditions. Also, the guy who strips down and the guy in his whitey tighties are two differnet people.
