As per rumors, David Cook is dating LACEY SCHWIMMER runner up from SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. okmagazine says, "David Cook has been missing his curfew to hang out with this girl and that he has been sneaking away to see her during the day." If rumors were true that David and LACEY SCHWIMMER are really dating, David might lose votes. As we all know that many fans of David are ladies who admire not only David's voice but his good looks. Just like Paula said "You are the whole package!" David, I believe it is not healthy for you to date someone at this time of your career. You can't affored it. Think about it.

I wouldn't be so surprised if Lacey herself was 'totally' the source. The girl is a good dancer but the famewhoring is pretty obvious. She also talked to People about David's brother coming, which is a pretty tacky move given that he doesnt discuss it himself, even when given clear chances to do so, as we saw wednesday. She's clearly exploiting the situation. Also, he seems a bit too smart to me to 1) put a girl who isn't all that special before winning a competition that means so much to him, 2) be with a 19 year old who, though talented, doesn't seem all that bright, and 3) get serious with anyone when there are literally millions of women (myself included) he could pick from.

Gossip magaziness are bull. They constantly make things up and put them on their glossy pages just to sell magazines to two kinds of people - those that believe it, and those that want to laugh at some tacky fiction. And if you read the entire that was published, it says that they went to some place called Doughboys or something and had breakfast... well, where's the proof? Pictures? Do they have any? Secondly, how could David break curfew, when Kristy Lee Cook said that it's usually pretty hard to go out without a bodyguard? And thirdly, how is he going to get to her apartment if he probably doesn't have a car?! LA isn't exactly Manhattan! OK Magazine is a joke. End of story.

Oh... and if you think about it, David is EXCELLENT prey for these gossip columns. Think about it:
- He's one of the most talented, popular and talked about contestants this season
- He's really the only single person there that they can make a good story about (all the girls are either married or engaged, MJ is married, Jason has a girlfriend, and David Archuleta is too young to be accused of dating a SYTYCD member)
- He did have a big smirk on his face at the end of that number, so they probably thought that's another point that a good story can build from

So who are we going to believe - David Cook himself, or some trashy magazine?

The last I heard "single" means not married. At least it does on the tax forms. He wasn't asked if he was seeing anyone, he was asked if he was single.

I hate gossip magazines, who cares, who he is dating anyway?? Really it's his life anyway right? But you know how gossip rags are, next week, he'll be dating Simon Cowell for Crip sake...LOL!!!

David is definitely not dating Lacey. That is the facts and he has never missed curfew. Could it be that Jeff Archeleta is trying his best to start rumors? He has been known to do this type of game playing to those who are competing against his son, which is his meal tickest.

To think that David is dating Lacey S. is laughable. He is smarter than that. She spoke to the media about David's brother making trip to LA, which she had no right to do. She just wanted to see her name and picture in the magazines. David seen right through that.
