So You Think You Can Dance: Top 10 Performance Show Recap

This was the big transition episode of So You Think You Can Dance. Everyone received a new partner and the format changes for the rest of the season. Each couple performed there partner routine as per usual, but a solo routine was added for each individual dancer. And, from here on out, the judges no longer have a say in the eliminations. America will vote for individual dancers, and the guy and girl with the lowest vote totals will be eliminated. The guest judge tonight was Mia Michaels.

My family and I enjoy watching So You Think You Can Dance. I do have on comment that really upsets me to say but needs to be said.
I enjoy watching Lacey Schwimmer preform as an
adult but her wild sexy actions on live TV are not exceptable for my 13 year old daughter to watch. Sorry to say but my husband and I choose to change the channel during her parterning practises and after her performances because her unprofessional sexual
behavior. Her perforances are one thing but offset with the camera rolling on live TV, she shows that sexual behavior. We will choose not to watch the show if this continues. This is a family show and FOX or So You Think You Can Dance should allow this. And there are many actions throughout this show where she has done some or said things that shows teenagers that it is okay to act in that manor. Though she is a grown woman she has many teenagers looking up to her and I'm sure that I am not the only mother who feels this way.

Lacey has fans because of Benji. The Solo was a disappointment. I thought the show was taking a personal shot at Dominic. What the hell!!! Ask the other dancers to Breakdance. The show is bias toward the contemporary dancers. Have Mr.Wiggles teach them some popping!

I thought the solo screwed the competition in an unfair manner. Making every dancer dance the exact same solo was not only boring but gave all the Wade dancers an unfair advantage. I for one lost interest the first time I saw the routine and wasn't all that happy with having to watch it 9 more times. The routine blatantly favored a specific type of dancer. At least with the partner routine the chorographer can tailor to the specific dancers' styles. My favorite dancers got great reviews on the solo and yet I still had to admit that it did automatically disadvantage other dancers in a way which made me question whether or not the winner of show would be "America's favorite dancer" or simply the dancer who "got lucky". You simply can't achieve an objective result with this current solo setup.

**Spoiler** The Dancers won't be eliminated because they didn't Dance for their Life. Show was not designed to give unfair advantage on solo performance.

I think Pasha did a great job. I was so surprised to see him dancing hip/hop and I believe he is the best dancer on this show because he has the ability to perform a wide variety of routines and he has been amazing throughout the show.

I am sick of these judges trying to get emotion from Danny. Mia Michaels will not be happy until she "breaks him down". Never mind that his dancing is flawless. And the fact that his is simply gorgeous doesn't hurt. Please stop trying to make these dancers feel emotions they obviously don't. Danny is not the only one.
