Smallville: "Gemini" Spoilers - Page 4

I just cannot put my finger on who's going to die!! Of course Clark's not the one, and according to K-Site, these are all the characters who are going to be in next season: Clark, Kara, Jimmy, Lois, and Lionel. And Kristin Kreuk is likely to be in part of the season, I definitely do not see Lex dying, and I know that it kinda sounds like Chloe's the one that's gonna die because of the Lex/Chloe confrontation, but I also just can't picture Chloe dying in that episode for some reason. So unless they bring back Martha and kill her (which I hope they don't), then it might as well be Shelby who's the dead one...

I hope it's the looming "Voice of Jor-El" who dies and never comes back. But I guess that's totally bogus as he's already technically dead. (But then again almost everybody else on the show has died at least once if not more, so why not Jor-El??) I can't see Chloe dying in that episode either, chlark4ever, but please, not Martha or Shelby!!!

I can't wait to see who dies at the end of the season. I am hoping it is Lana for good but it can't be Chloe. Chloe is a great character and she has to be in season 8. I am also not liking Clark and Lana and I hope their relationship ends soon. Lionel can also die as well. Lex is slowly showing his true self and becoming the villain he is meant to be.

It's either going to be Lana Lang or Lionel but I see Lana dying because shes not doing much as far as her role in Smallville, the love triumph seems to leap over and over again.

Even though many might wish for it around here, Lana will not be dying. Lana haters will be happy though, Kristin has posted on Facebook that she won't even be appearing again this season due to Street Fighter filming conflicts. Expect a quick emergency or something to happen off screen in the next episode (maybe Nell falling ill). Next season Kristin will only be appearing a small number of times as a guest star. Lex and Chloe will both be back with significant roles next season, so they aren't dying. Jimmy, Kara and Clark are safe, they are unwilling to mess with established comic lore and all three are a part of Supermans adult world.

Doing the math from my last post, you can see that fans of a certain distinguished older gentleman on the show should be very worried. I hope the last season really focuses on moving Clark towards his destiny. He walks around with the power of a God and he rarely uses them to do good beyond rescuing his friends (even stopping the phantoms was fixing a problem he caused). Michael Ausiello hinted they would be bringing Lori Lemaris (another LL!) on as another romantic interest for Clark. In the comics, she was a telepathic mermaid, as well as his college romance, so maybe she could help him switch from reactive to proactive, as Green Arrow has tried to do in the past.

In all serious logic, it has to be lionel who dies. Do the math. Lex and lana are coming back for guest spots next season and they wont kill clark or jimmy or chloe or lois. The article did say a "long running character" will die so i think that takes out kara. The only one left is Lionel. It makes sense. Lex has been really evolving into his true evil form as of late and it could work out that he kills lionel. We will have to wait and see but im betting that lionel dies at the hands of lex.

Agreed, Suden & Jokerman. I am casting my vote for Lionel kickin' the bucket too. Lex has already killed his clone brother and his childhood friend so far this season -- why not his father next?? But I like your reasoning and deductions on why it's Lionel. I've been thinking along the same lines... I also think there have been hints that it will be Lionel in the last few episodes, and possibly more this week. But we shall see in April!
