I know there are Smallville fans out there who are hoping that since Smallville is shot up in Vancouver, B.C., that the WGA writers' strike won't effect production on the show. Unfortunately, it does. Smallville's writers are Hollywood based and have therefore gone on strike with everyone else this week. From what I've gathered, there's been no official word on how many scripts the Smallville writers had finished prior to Monday, but it looks like Smallville will be able to get through mid-season. Unlike some shows (like The Office and Battlestar Galactica) production on Smallville won't stop just because the writers are on strike. The actors will film the remaining episodes. The producers have also stated that they, knowing that a strike was likely, ended the final finished script on a cliff-hanger, so the last aired episode (which should be in mid-February or so) can act as a season finale if need be.To read the rest, click here.

At least they have a few episodes until they need to write new ones. Hopefully the writers have come back by then. I think this episode will be the height of the lana clone thing. Its really to bad that she is the biggest villian so far. I cant wait to see how this written. If it is the clone...or not i hope clark takes her out when they fight. They are giving lana way too much credit, clone or not

Uh...I thought the 11th episode of Heroes *was* altered to allow it to serve as a season finale? Just how credible are these "rumors" you mention?

Why does Clark lose his powers so easily? Isn't his powers part of his DNA?

The writers have been screwing up this story as it is. Maybe they should go on strike and give some of us fans a whack at it. We could do no worse than they have.

Kal_El's Gal here with all the spoilers: As you know, I live in Canada and we see the episode 1 day before the US, so here we go! Remember, if you don't want to know, don't read this! Easy to explain stuff first, Lois' new boyfriend the editor of the Daily Planet is on Lex's payroll (Oh boy what a surprise! i'm being sarcastic!)and he and Lois kiss in this episode and start their "relationship". Next: Remember that episode way back when with the kryptonite and the lightning and Clark and the guy who is now playing Jimmy get struck and exchange powers? Same thing, only it's Lana and Clark and they are now sharing his powers. Clark still has his powers but Lana now has them, too.

Kal-El's Gal continues: So, you know how we've all been b***hing about no passion between Clark and Lana? Well, there hasn't been any because she and Clark haven't been having sex. This is actually revealed in this episode, but only after they finally do DO IT because Clark is no longer worried about it because they're on the same "playing field" so to speak. Finally, I think the writers have been reading our comments, because believe me, if I got Clark's powers and that was the only thing keeping us apart and this happened, I'd do exactly what Lana did! All you Lana haters can not say anything bad about her in this particular situation. For the first time, she actually behaved like an intelligent female! The only stupid part was that she stopped!

Kal-Els Gal still: The longer she has these powers, the more corrupt she gets, and of course, she is using them to go after Lex. There are a few hints made in this episode about "who she really is", but I'm not sure if this was meant to lead us to the clone thing, or just to jerk us around. Lionel tells Clark Lana was the one that kidnapped him. Lex is working on project Zion - which is the prelude to the return of Brainiac Prof. Fine, and Lana wants to expose him. Clark stops her from doing it and killing Lex in the process and he electros himself and Lana with kryptonite between them to get her back to normal. Chloe has been involved the entire time and is the only one that knows about the Clark/Lana power share so she helps Clark (as always). For all you Lana haters and Chloe lovers, you're going to love the conversation between the two when Chloe basically threatens Lana about hurting Clark and bringing him down.
