So, the fortress !@#!@bles with Clark and Lex inside. Wouldn't Lex die? Those crystals look sharp and heavy. Lex the savior of humanity, ha! Clark killed Brainiac too quick, but I did like the way he died. When it happened, I was thinking....isn't this what Brainiac wanted (to recharge)? I guess Clark overloaded his circuits. Kara being trapped in the phantom zone, opens the possibility of Zod getting out when she does. I thought that people from the House of EL could get out of the phantom zone. I hope Chloe isn't tortured. Jimmy is a fool! I can't believe he thought Lex would leave her alone.

ok..wasn't too happy with Lex...but then again who is huh,so where did the Fortress,Lex and Clark go?And that neat little trick Chloe did on Brainniac?Lana will be missed,i'm hoping she will return atleast for a while.Jimmy proposing to Chloe i almost cried like a baby.When will Kara be back?and will Brainniac just be gone already!

who knows what they're doing...perhaps they just want to leave us guessing, as usual. they left us guessing on the season finale for season 6 too. they could easily have clark go search for her... who knows?

perhaps too that the episode had been written b/4 kristin kreuk made her decision (changed her mind).

I have to say this season finale was a let down. There was no battle between Lex and Clark which is what I was looking for. Lana leaving left me in tears because she was not supposed to leave Smallville, Clark was. As far as Chloe and Jimmy, I believe they should have been together. There are also a lot of holes in this story. The fortress coming down does that trigger some kind of memory loss for Lex because he's not supposed to recognize Clark being Superman after this? And how does Clark become ga-ga over Lois? Too many things have changed in the Superman mythology.

LANA LANG needs to come back pronto!! The writers made a big mistake with letting her go! I personally think that they should try harder to negotiate with KK so that she can come back for more then "a few" epis nxt season so we can wrap up this relationship properly! As it stands right now, Clark and Lana are soulmates and share a love that no other relationship will ever measure up to...INCLUDING Lois (sry to say but its true)..and its fine by me!

in response to BenEdwardGre2 you should know that in the comics i do believe lex new clark was different as they knew each other as teens but he refused to believe that clark and superman were on and the same he just didnt believe it for some reason or at least thats what it says in the DC encyclipedia
