Will Allison Mack Move Out of 'Smallville'? - Page 2

The show needs Chloe/AM, and it won't survive without her character. The core characters are what drive the show and make it successful. It started with Lex, Clark, Chloe and Lana--it should end the same way. It was bad enough to lose Lex, but Chloe as well?

If AM/Chloe don't return in season 8, neither will I. Without her, there isn't a point.

I definitely woulf NOT watch Smallville without Chloe. She is the ony character that I can stand anymore. The Lois and Clark show is not what Smallville was all about. First of all, Superman/Clark met Lois, Not Clark in hiigh school. anyway, the show will lose this viewer without Chloe Sullivan around.

I agree Chloe is a great character and I love AM and she is a great actress. Without her in the 8th season, Smallville won't be the same. I agree that Clark and Lois need to start getting closer but they don't have to be dating. Chloe is such a breath of fresh air. She makes things interesting and keeps Clark on his toes. She is also a meter freak and that has still some more stories that can be told about that. I don't want her to live. If she can at least be in 18 episodes that would be great.

I wouldn't watch if Allison Mack left Smallville. Chloe Sullivan is the Lois Lane for this Clark Kent. ED's "Lois" isn't even a close second.

I'm a Smallville fan no matter what so I'll watch til Clark takes to the sky. HOWEVER it doesn't mean that I'll have to enjoy it. Keep Chloe. She's really grown from season one and her character is integral to the show. Yes they can do the Lois, Clark Jimmy thing but if they're getting rid of anyone why can't it be Laura Vander-foot? Worst...actress...ever

I don't think I'll watch if she leaves the show. First it was Clark's Dad that left, then his mom and lex's dad just got killed off. Now lana and lex are gonna be phased out. So basically all the originals from the series are gone except for Clark. Chloe is the only one besides him whose left. You get rid of Chloe you might as well end the show at the end of this season. I think being that there will probably only be one more season I think Allison should just sign up for one more season. Then if the show wants to go on past that and they want her to stay then they need to fork out the money to keep her on show. Allison is an awesome actress and an important part of the show. No Allison No Chloe then I am no longer a weekly watcher. Once James Marsters character is off the show then I wont watch at all. I will just wait for the dvds.

chloe is an extremely boring character. in any case, it's doubtful that all actors on smallville could be in such high demand. some actors' careers fade after the end of a tv series. mack doesn't strike me as an actress who can carry off a lead role in any film or tv show. at the moment, she's also promoting herself like hell on youtube. i'll bet anything that she'll be back and for many episodes.

I actually didn't do the poll because I do think Chloe is very important and needs to be kept but I would still watch even without her. At this point, after investing seven years I HAVE to see Clark become Superman. If I can watch our hero be Lana's whipping boy who can't move on for the last three years then I can watch the show without Chloe, but I think there would be a huge hole. Hopefully she stays, or at least is in most of the season only missing a few eps while she is off helping Oliver, and I also hope that Lex is in quite a bit of next season so that the show stays true to it premise, But I won't miss Lana, at least no the Lana we have been seeing for the last few years.

I would hate to see Allison leave, Chloe is a great character, but if the story above is accurate then shame on her. What she is doing amounts to blackmail, using the departure of Michael and Kristin as leverage to get a huge raise. I thought better of her.
