I would probably like to see Bruce Wayne, but I think it should just be like a pass through, or wink at the audience. You know, he appears for like two minutes and just as Clark wonders who he is, he's gone again. As for Wonder Woman I think that could work if they cast it right. Lucy Lawless is NOT the right person for this role. One, I think she is too old to portray the character on Smallville and two, she is too closely identified with Xena. I have never been able to see her as wonder woman and don't understand why others do. Personally I like when they cast relative unknowns as the superheros becasue to me it's more about the character than the 'big name' portraying them.

For instance I heard a rumor, I repeat rumor, that Nick Cage wanted to play Superman in the Superman Returns movie. I thought that was ridiculous, and just plain wrong. (Nothing against NC as I like his movies) Thankfully the producers went with Brandon who was a relative unknown and I thought he was really good. Anyway that's just my opinion on that topic. Now as to other superhero's or villians, I don't care who they bring on as long as it advances Clarks journey to become the man of steel. I want to see him CHOOSING to save the world instead of sitting around the farm with his whipped puppy eyes worshiping at the alter of Lana, but that's a whole other topic.

As I said before they might ruin Bruce and I agree with slayfan so how about this.Maybe something cheesy like O.k. bare with me here : Final episode of the series all is said and done then just before it ends Clark pushes some guy away from a speeding car and saves him. The guy is young dark and handsome and he thanks clark. Later he gets into his limo giving clark this inquisitive look. His Driver in the limo asks Are you o.k. master Bruce and He says Yes Alfred I just have this feeling I'm going to run into that guy again. Then the show ends.

I agree slayfan. Its more about the character than the big time movie star playing the character. That was no rumor. Nick Cage did approach the studio to be superman. I agree that he is too old to play the part. He is a die hard superman fan. He is such a fan of superman that he named his son Kalel.

I'm with you, Slyfan. I would love to see Bruce Wayne on the show. But I don't think he'd do well as a recurring character like Green Arrow. Maybe just an episode, at most. And even tho I love the Wonder Woman character, I don't think it would do well on the series - and certainly not Lucy Lawless! I believe the closest thing to Wonder Woman that we're going to see was the lovely Lynda Carter (the former WW) playing Chloe's mom. We really do need more villains though... the Lovable Lex is leaving (gasp!! sob!!) So somebody equally evil (who I would hope doesn't go through spurts of being saved by angels and converting to the good side momentarily) to fill those weighty shoes. Just PLEASE don't give us disappointing villains!!

I think they should really put batman and the joker on the show because it would put the ratings on top.

ok since they the WB cant get the rights to Wonderwomen or Batman because of the JLA movie, Wonderwomen, and new batman movie i would say Darkseid, just out of curiosity how many people are aware they cant get the rights to Bats and wonderwomen even tho they want to use them. and pushed hard to get the rights to wonderwomen, and dc thought told them to wait so they wait untill the rights were close because of the movies. how many people realize this, its DC's fault not WBs. I hopeing the WB can get the rights to Zatanna since clark sucks agaist magic or Green Lantern. those i think would be great additions to the show.
