| I am very happy that Lana won't be on as much next year. Maybe they will actually give her decent story when she is on since they won't be trying to shove her into every ep, whether she fits or not, of course this is as long as she is no longer with Clark. Clark NEEDS to move on, not necessarily with anyone else, just towards his destiny as a superhero. Now as to MR, him I am going to miss. One of the things I really liked about this show was how they juxtaposed the stories of Clark and that of his future nemisses Lex. In fact that was what orginally hooked me into the show was seeing Clark and Lex as best friends while knowing they would eventually be mortal enemies. Sure I liked the romance of his love for Lana at first but boy did that get old. (talk about beating a dead horse) So Yay for less Lana, sniffle sniffle for less Lex. |

| Smallville will never be the same without Lana. I'm disappointed that they have made the decision for her to go but KK will probably see this as an opportunity to follow other avenues in her career. I agree with carulina18. Lois does not like Clark. She loves Superman. Lana is the one who loves Clark Kent. |

| Losing Lex and Lana will not be the end of Smallville. The story can go on if they write it right. Maybe now they will concentrate on more of the mythology. It will be weird without Lex or Lana, but I dont watch the show for those two anyhow... I watch it for Clark and the mythology.... |

| Losing Lex is a huge blow to the show. Michael Rosenbloom was terrific in the role. I can live without Lana. The writers were seriously struggling to give her business over the past season or two. Isis was a joke in my book.

| I have never really liked Lana... but I will miss Lex... Or at least I will miss him when I catch up on the seasons... I am just on Season 5 at the moment... Even now, they are struggling to give Lana stuff to do... The Lois character is a much more interesting one then hers...
