she was soaked while in Detroit. She was dirty obviously because of the whole fighting with the evil guy, she was away for more than a day so didn't she even come back to take a shower? nothing? wouldn't she wonder why Clark was sitting watching her cousin "sleeping"? Finally, why did Clark assume that Kara was dead??? and why didn't he and Chloe bother to look for her? Obviously if Lex found her, Chloe would have been able to track her down very easily. Ok, I'm done ranting and pointing out the plotholes! Overall awesome episode. Minimal Lana was an added blessing! and of course Clark waiting for over 18 hours by Chloe's bed? Priceless! I can't imagine how looooong that must have seemed.

18 hours just sitting wondering and trying not to imagine the worst outcome happening and reaching a point where he was literally thinking about what to say on her funeral must have seemed like an eternity! Chlark is really the epic relationship (friendship I mean) of this show! MR Rocked as Lex as usual!! the liitle kid who played Lex also did a brilliant job. Well while we are at it: MR, TW, Allison and JG were as excellent as always! And the CLEX cannot be stressed enough! It's what the show is all about. Really we need more Clex scenes!

LEXANA Sex Scene: I also believe this was a REAL memory. Simply because I don't see why Evil!Lex would show Clark a fantasy when he can show him the real thing. The main reason of that scene, IMO, was the "I'll always love you" line from Lana. And I don't think it was to show Clark what Lex meant to Lana in Lexana. I think it was meant to show Clark that Lana will say that line to whoever she's with at the time. The reason it say this is because just the episode before that ("Siren") we had Clark telling Chloe that Lana told the phantom that they belong together. Now in this episode we are shown Lana telling Lex that she'll always love him. Now we know that in "Siren" she also tells Clark that he is the only guy she's ever really loved. Now Clark already told her that this was a lie, but deep down he was still in denial as we saw in the last Clana scene in "Siren".

Now this scene confirms to him that Lana has said the "I love you forever" or "I'll always love you" before, she's had many boyfriends, so maybe to all of them? Maybe to a few of them? maybe only to Clark and the phantom? These are questions that Clark would (or should) be asking himself after seeing that scene. At least I think that was the intention. Basically what the scene should scream to Lex is that Lana is fickle. She thinks she's in live with whoever is worshipping her at that particular time. But this is Smallville where nothing ever sticks with Clana.

You may not have noticed this...but how did they find Lex, and not find Kara, Lois, or Crazy Jimmy?? I mean, didn't they look around the place?? That was a stupid episode! The writers' could've done better!!

Lex was apparently dumped in a ditch! I agree sami93 they could have solved the case in a million other ways (Chloe could have done research and tracked them down, Clark has superspeed and superhearing and X-ray vision and so on),but I guess there had to be a lot of contrivances to make the Clark entering Lex's head possible. For instance how is it possible that Lex was still alive after he was (a) thrown into a ditch, (b) flown all the way back to Smallville-- From Detroit, shot between his eyes. Why did Lana have to be the one to tell about the project? why was she so excited to find it ("I found something better" she said) and then later all worried ("it is dangerous blah blah blah...")??? Too many plotholes, but if you overlook the gaping plotholes, we had LEX!!! for more than FIVE MINUTES! This is a TREAT for us Lex fans, so I am not complaining at all. We alos had only TWO MINUTES of Lana! Again no complaints at all!!!
