After more than a month on hiatus, Smallville is back to finish up the final six episodes of season 7. Attentive fans are already aware that these last few episodes bring back a number of memorable past characters, and tonight we see the return of one Brainiac, aka Professor Milton Fine, aka James Marsters. When last we saw Brainiac, he was kind of dead, reduced back into a black goo trying to regain his form and ability. When last viewers saw Marsters, he was making out with Captain Jack on the second season premiere of BBC’s Torchwood. And yes, Captain Jack is a dude. To read the rest, click here.

it was a very excellent episode. the only complain i had was that things were a bit too convenient with jor-el punishing clark at the same time bizarro just happened to escape from martian manhunter. anyway, bizarro is so much more fun to watch than clark. i've gotten somewhat tired of clark's uptight nature. bizarro is passionate and spirited. i could watch a series with bizarro and lana (as a team) - of course, it has to star kristin and tom.

Ugly Betty is awesome and approximately 3.65 million percent better than Smallville.

Honestly? I have no words for this episode. Except one: Brainiac is BAAACK!!! James Marsters was awesome! Now if they don't destroy this great viallin by making him fall in love with the princess of the death (yes, almost all her boyfriends/stalkers end up either dead or in Bell-reeve, except for Clark and Lex). So Bizarro loves Lana-- what a shocker! Clark said "it's all my fault Lana" who didn't see that coming? Lana is jealous of Chloe??? ("Chloe is not the only one who knows her way around a computer)-- So Lana has a new magical Talent! She's not just a SCIENTIST now, she 's also a computer geek! Wow that magical pink-of-pureness! Lana sleeps with Bizarro and does not find this strange? Just a few episodes ago she told Chloe that she and clark "couldn't" have sex-- so why would she think that Clark is ok with it all of a sudden?? Bizarro decides they should leave Smallville go to Paris (Lana's been there stupid show!), and Lana does not question this behavior?? Bizarro forgets the

Bizarro forgets the fortress! THE FORTRESS and again Lana does not even question this? Wow that Lana is really selfless! What a genius! Ok, so I said I did not have much to say, I guess I lied. My bitterness is beyond--well.. you get the drift! After this episode, I don't see how anyone can think that Lana is not selfish and self-absorbed! She was with Bizarro for a whole month and didn't realize anything wrong, Chloe is with Bizarro for five minutes and immediately realizes that something's wrong! Ok, yeah Lana "Maybe chloe does not know Clark as well as she thinks'--- I scoffed at that line! Brainiac I love you! Yes, the only villain worth watching in this episode. Lionel, Lex, Grant/Julian/Clone/whatever's storyline sucked air! Soo sad, by the end of the scene I was screaming Kill the stupid clone--and he was killed! and all was good! But now I miss evil Lex-- what happened to him? and evil Lionel? Where is heroic Clark? Lana is soo great she even destroyed one of Superman's stronge

? Lana is soo great she even destroyed one of Superman's strongest and evil-est phantom/villains! Why couldn't they at least have Martian Manhunter do that?? Or have clark find another way to defeat the phantom? I'm mad, because Clark basically did nothing-- at least he's not all huggy-lovey-dovy with Lana at the end of the episode. Some hope that finally the dreaded Clana is coming to an end? Or maybe it's a hint that they will live happily ever after making doe-eyed looks at each other! ok, Brainiac-- can we at least have more of him??? YES SOMEBODY SAAAAAAVE ME INDEED!!! Perfectly put!

I realized that I didn't even mention that the five minutes of Chloe that we got made this episode worth watching! Well, ok that and Brainiac!! TW did an awesome job as Bizarro and as Real!Clark. He made me feel sorry for Bizarro! All Bizarro did was love Lana (ok I'm not discounting that he's an evil phantom), but all he did to Lana was love her, and Lana killed him! Also why was Clark ok with Bizarro being killed???? He should never be ok with killing anyone! At least Superman would never be ok with killing anyone or anything!! Finally: SO WHO CREATED BRAINIAC EXACTLY??? Was it JOR-EL? Or was it DAX-UR? I am very confused-- a few episodes ago Lara said that Jor-el created Brainiac and now Dax-ur says that he created him????
