Am a little confused here-- what was the cliffhanger in Gemini? I know that Lex said they need to fire a few "deadwood" from the Daily Planet, and my guess is that Chloe is going to get fired-- since we know that Lex specifically asked for Lois to stay at the DP. We also have spoilers that Lois is working on a story with Jimmy later on in a future episode. Maybe my guess is wrong here, but was that the cliffhanger? Or was there something else that was not resolved in Gemini? We got all the 3 twists: Lex owning the DP, Clark being Bizarro!Clark and Grant being a Clone (granted that that was a very predictable twist but still a twist). I feel like I'm missing something because I've heard people saying what a great cliffhanger the episode has... someone help? Does the "firing our deadwood" count as a Cliffhanger?

Yeah kishagirl92 , i think the only occupations you missed with Lana were, corner working, c*$k blocker, and definately a $#!t starter! but otherwise you had the rest of them down perfectly, as far as the cliffhanger? I dunno because i was having a party and trying to watch the episode at the same time....did not work to well sorry.

PrincessPhoenix which season are you in? Because it really depends, some people think Lana is awesome, while others think Lana is the worst written character... it's really just a matter of opinion. Read the posts on KK's page and AM's page and see both sides of the coin. I'm still wondering about the Cliffhanger-- and again all I can come up with is Lex's line "we need to fire a few deadwoods". And again I'm worried because to me that sounds a lot like him saying that they need to fire Chloe. Who else do we know that would be fired from the Daily planet? He's not firing Lois, and Jimmy is definitely still employed there, and we know Grant dies soon. So to me this means that only Chloe will get fired...maybe and a few other people that we do not know or care about. Anyone with ideas?

Let the cliffhanger go. It'll just disappoint you later anyway with the way the writing has been going. Now who is in league with who here. Clarks mom said his father(jor-el) was a kind and great man. Even his evil uncle said so. But through out the show we have seen anything but. Then in the fortress jor-el doesn't make a peep until everyone is gone. Then he makes his voice heard and it's to say he's punishing clark

Right after he punishes clark we see Bizzaro in clarks place. Not to mention the Martian made it seem like he killed bizzaro. When he flew away towards the sun with him then returned, and clark asked did you kill him. He just said your father and I had a don't ask don't tell policy. To me that means yes. So again who is in league with who here. Is jor-el really evil and is the martian evil as well.

By Zod I hope they don't make MM evil! I will be very upset if that happens! I am all for evil Jor-el! That fortress needs to go! Although somehow I have a feeling that it has nothing to do with Clark being frozen in "Gemini". I mean, I know it sounds far-fetched, but usually when Jor-el punishes Clark, it does so with a "moral lesson" in mind--- basically most of his punishments to Clark are so that Clark will learn something from them. In that regard I just don't understand why Jor-el would punish Clark by turning him into a popsicle and leaving him like that while Bizarro and Brainiac are running around on Earth...

Plus I don't see what lesson Clark would learn from being frozen. I mean it's like "you stay right there son, until your Lana blinders are gone and you start listening to me?" heee ok, actually I'm all for tha punishment if that's the case-- no, no I lie, I am not ok with any form of punishment crazy Jor-el hands down on Clark. Especially with his "Rule them with strength my son" line from seaon 4! I didn't really think that MM killed Bizarro-- he took them up to Mars or something because the yellow sun makes him weak or something! My guess is that Bizarro escaped when there was that eclipse in "Blue"... I mean that would have been the perfect time for him to escape unnoticed-- Clark did not have his powers, MM and Kara were at odds at the time, Clark, Kara and Jor-el were all busy at the fortress-- no one would have noticed the return of Bizarro--- also does Jor-el even know that there is an evil duplicate of Clark running around? We never saw Clark telling him did we?

Batfan, yes, I have given up on the cliffhanger issue---I guess I'll start getting ready for some future disappointments. This show is genius on delivering that!

Its as if the writers are shaping up a martin manhunter/.jor-el tag team against clark. I have no reason why they would do that. Even though the story line of a villian impersonates the hero to do damage has been done by so mane shows, if they make brainiac and bizzaro team up, i think it could be good. If they had kara, ckark, MM and green arrrow and black canary or any combo of them fighting bizzaro and brainiac, that would be a great way to end the season I thought since bizzaro wants to bring down lex and clark, killing lana would be the way to do it. Lex could turn pure evil and since the show is all about clark learning lesons, that could be the biggest lesson of all. As much as that would rock, its just not going to happen. From what sopilers i have found about upcoming episodes, there is a scene in which grant/julian is shot, indicating that the one to die this season will be him
