All I'm saying is give me some consistency and move the story along. I understand what you mean cecil,I too want to see who this guy ends up with but not at the cost of the rest of the show.I can live with your chlois theory, really I have no problem with that. As for the others, well, you already said it. Although I think for lex to fulfill his evil destiny he has to be totally evil and kill his father. I LOVE lionel luther but in the books It is rumored that lex killed his own dad. Yes I said rumored. As slick as lex is he was never convicted or pinned in any way to his fathers death although many give him the eye whenever his father is mentioned. It's cruel, but a necessary twist to jump start lex's destiny of being Evil.Any takers?

Agreed batfan. I am a huge lionel fan but it makes sense at this point fo lex to be evil he would have to go to the extreme and kill his father. They cant use some past tragedy because they already killed their own story line and anything current would not work because lately he is not so much evil. lex and lionel have at odds in the past so it seems like a logical step to go but with the current state of the writing and lionel's ties to clark...being jor-el's vessel and protecting him, i really dont see them doing it. Or maybe they could have a storyline where it is revealed that lex has a whole bunch of clones...even ones to replace people like lana or julian and this causes clark and him to be at odds and the battle is so intense that their friendship is totally gone and it drives lex to be evil...just throwing it out there.

ooo my poor Lionel! Ok, enough self pity for one of the best characters on SV!--ok, I got that inside out, one of the best ACTORS on SV! JG is definitely one of the greatest actor ever, and I feel soo mad when they give him such terrible lines/scenes to work with insteas of taking advantage of his great talent! That said, I'd be very sad to see Lionel die, but if that's what it would take to make Lex evil, then I'm all for it! I'd definitely miss Lionel (although I really miss evil Lionel), but at least I'd get my payoff--Lex would be evil again! Not semi-evil-semi-good the way he is right now. I agree with you Batfan that any character assassinations at this point would be totally uncalled for, and I don't also want it to be at the expense of some consistency, and some major character development in case of the core four! Jokerman, I especially like your idea where Lex becomes evil without having to kill Lionel! There are rumors that someone will die in 'Gemini'. I hope it's Grant so

I hope it's Grant so we can get that part of the storyline over and done with and so they can go back to developing the other characters that actually matter--ie: Lex, Clark, Lana and Chloe.

The writing is getting desperate. The central reason why Lex is a nut case is becasue his father didn't love him as a result of Julian's death. Lex father loves Julian and blames Lex for killing Julian. Lex's mother killed Julian to prevent Julian becoming like Lionel. So how can Julian be alive and Lionel put Julian up for adoption? It doesn't make sense. The series is cannibalizing itself to come up with phony plotlines. And that old Lois does nothing but flap her arms and roll her eyes. She looks at least 10 years older than Julian. Dumb, Dumb, Dumber.

Yeah, the writer's have completely insinerated her character... depicting her a cynical, sometimes childish, college dropout. Not like the iconic Lois Lane. I really do hope that Chlois theory plays out in the end because Lois' character creditibity is completely shot at this point.
