I think at this point its a safe bet that lana is the clone. Given how her character was written up to this point, she would have never been smart or strong enough to pull all of this off. Maybe the fake death but not stealing 10 million or capturing lionel or setting up cameras to spy on lex. Even the dynamic of clark and lana's relationship has changed. I think he is going to realize that something is not right and find out she is the clone. I say kill the clone and move on to better storylines...the series is ending soon

Thats true batfan...the luthors are being written as weaker than what they had in previous seasons due to lana's rampage but i think that even if they wanted to blow her off the face of the earth clark woould never let that happen

Kal-El's Gal here: Batfan, sex IS love, isn't it? Ha, ha, ha!!!! No, really. Did the CW officially announce the show's ending next season? So season 8 will be the last, or this season 7? Please clearify for me. Although I may be the oracle with the spoilers, I'm behind on this one!

Hey all! I'm back--- Finally! Wrath was... was "wrath" for me to watch. But a few good things came out of it-- for instance Chloe telling off Lana. Ok, not exactly telling her off, but threatening her all the same. That was awesome to watch. As for the Luthors--I think their characters are being assassinated for the sake of Lana-- like every other character on the show--I mean even the Clark character gets sacrificed for Lana whenever the producers wake up with a Lana-fever! I miss evil Luthors too... and Lex's hotpants army! How could they all just disappear when the dam broke? surely some of them survived? hey, just me dreaming as usual. I do wish they'd stop making Lois look dumber by day! She's suppossed to be a star reporter! Grant EditorMC!@#!@ is working for the Luthors! Poor Lois will never get an article on lex then, what with all the googly-eyeing-lip-locking in the office! Batfan114, I think we should start a "flatten Lana like a pancake" petition to the writer...hehe.. kidd

kiddin'! But seriously, am I the only ones that was hoping she's end up in Belle reeve like all the other character's (save Jonathan kent who ended up dead and Lex because of his meteor-freakness) who possessed the powers (remember Leech?) Even Chloe is worried that Lana will get affected by having the powers. So how is it that she comes out of it without even a scratch??? In the past we've been made to to believe that humans immune system cannot withstand having such tremendous powers! Talk about inconsistency on the writer's part!

Glad your back love. Now as jokerman and I have been saying we believe she may have survived the powers unlike the others because she's a clone. How else other than the writers screwing up again would you explain lana coming back an evil genius with 10 million dollars and the balls to pull of the things she's done so far.

I really hate to admit it but I fear this show has degenerated beyond salvation. In the early years Clark and Lana both thought she was walking on the dark side when she reported legitimate health department violations against a rival coffee shop that was trying to put the Talon out of business. Now they are accusing each other of being willing to murder and neither one denies it. The producers are legally bound by DC Comics not to go further, at least in Clark's case, or they probably would.

On a theoretical level this development can be kind of interesting. It recapitulates the transition legend stories themselves went through historically, from ancient times to postmodernism. It also parallels the process everyone goes through in growing up, starting with a strong but naive sense of truth and justice then learning to temper it as one's responsibilities increase and the demands of reality set in. But in practical terms it has turned a once inspiring story about human pote

turned a once inspiring story about human potential into an increasingly boring soap opera. We are shown again and again that maybe the good guys aren't so good after all, and maybe the bad guys aren't so bad. OK, I get it. But this is not what attracted me to Smallville and it grows increasingly tiresome. Even antiheroes need real heroes or they become nonsense. I hope somebody is listening and I hope somebody will save Smallville if it is still possible.
