Helen Slater guest stars on Smallville At this point, it is already well-known that actress Helen Slater, who played Supergirl in the eponymous 1984 film, will be guest-starring in the sixth episode of Smallville's current season.  Slater will debut on The CW series as Lara, Kara Zor-El's aunt and Clark's biological mother.

However, fans of Smallville will be happy to know that Lara is not the only Kryptonian family member who will make an appearance on the particular episode, which is set to air on November 1.  For those who are interested to know who the other family member is, or are eager to get some plot spoilers on the episode, read on.

This episode sounds like its going to be cool. It should be alot better than the last one. I am however worrried about this secret that chloe finds about lana that she kept from clark...as if being a death faking, money stealing, blond wig in china wearing, clone having, camera installing, smallville watching princess was not enough for right now.

I am excited to see Clark's biological mother though. I wonder how this supposed accident happens that gives Lana Clark's powers and he doesn't know about it. Hmmm?

Althugh I have to ask, since when is lana an evil mastermind over night. I think the only secret she has left is that she's not the real lana. I think she's the clone. The clone got the drop on the real lana and blew her up in the car and is now planning the demise of the luther's. 10 million is nothing compared to what they all have put together. Think about it. The real lana is gone so no competition, you get rid of lionel and lex so who's left to inherit the luther empire? any takes on this theory?

Kal-El's Gal here: ATTENTION ALL LANA HATERS, if you thought you hated Lana before, just wait until you see tonight's episode! I live in Canada and we see it one night before CW airs it, so I have all the real spoilers. If you don't want to know, don't read on. Okay - so Lionel is finally back tonight, and he's being held prisoner in a shack by Marilyn, who is employed by Lana, why she is doing this is not revealed, but he is rescued by Lex, who learns of it through Lois' research on land purchased by "LL". If you ask me, none of this makes any sense. I have no idea what the h*** the writers are doing this season. Meanwhile, they are filming the Warrior Angel movie on the Kent farm, and although the writing for this is pretty cool because they draw so many paralells between the Warrior Angel comics and Superman, it gets ruined by the Clark/Lana interaction. Am I the only woman out there that thinks that Lana has lost her mind? The story is that a derranged fan is not happy with the way
