Excuse me all Lana haters. First you hate her because she's the perfect little princess. Now they are making her look a bit sinister and you still hate her even more. Obviously you don't know what you want from her character.

PS. yes what is happening to Clark & Lana? Absolutely no passion. Are they supposed to love each other? We've seen one hug when she came back from the dead and a kiss on the cheek. That's chemistry.

Clark needs to leave Smallville and go to the fortress to start training already!!!!!!!! The show can move in another direction by having Clark do different types of training around the world!!! Martha Kent, atleast in the comics made the Superman suit with the linens left in Kal-El's space craft.., how is she going to do that in Washington being a " Congresswoman"? She was never that in the comics, not even close, and for the record Jonathan Kent is still alive in the comics.. He is there when Clark marries Lois. Oh yeah, what ever happened with Perry White. When he left Smallville (clean and sober) he was going to work for the Daily Planet, where is he?
Death to Lana Lang's Character!!!!! Totally!!! Her character is even more annoying now than ever.. I mean, JEEZZ, If they would have gotten rid of her in season 1 I would have danced across the sky myself!!!!
Oh Yeah..., FLY ALREADY DAMN IT!!!!!

It bothers me too but I think they are just trying to show her teetering on the brink. Lionel:"Lana, please listen to me. You are on the edge of a dangerous precipice. You could easily tumble down into someplace very dark, and very hard to escape... You're not trying to protect clark. This is about retribution. Let him go Lana, before it's too late."
I think Lana will give Clark up in the end, even though at the end of this episode she answered "OK" when Clark told her he just wants to stay with her on the farm.

Is this Lana's clone doing the bad stuff?
I was tempted by this thought too Batfan, but again I think they are showing Lana on the precipice. She will not fall though. She will once again give Clark up for love but this time it will not be her love for Clark, it will be her love for mankind, the millions who need Clark mo

more than she does. So in the end Clark will have "saved" her by giving her up in the first place and teaching her the lesson of giving up what you want out of love. Won't they both be heroic then? At least that's my guess on how they will take it from here. Then Clois can happen.

NO REAL PASSION - yet Lana keeps making horny references to other ways to burn off calories and such. What's up with that?

Yes Batfan, that was striking. It was either intended to convey something (what?) or unbelievably clumsy.

And it was a great opportunity for Clark to fly. What could motivate Clark to learn quickly more than saving Lana? As it was, Lana's fall was never slowed and she landed in his arms of steel, which should have broken her back, to say the least. (Must...suspend...disbelief...)

Suspend Nothing!!!! You know I was right! You said it yourself, he could have flown and didn't, she had no reaction to falling off a roof excuse me thrown off a roof, and her spine didn't snap like a twig, when they landed. Oh and when the hell did her an chloe even see eachother. There never was a reunion. She says don't tell chloe I'm alive in one episode and hey clark chloe and I did some digging on the sabotaged car. "Chloe and I" when the hell did they finally meet,and how does chloe not have a reaction to one of her best friends coming back to life!? She was even on the farm with her during the movie shoot and they don't put the characters together. Chloe was outside with clark and lana in that damn barn. The writers royally screwed up! And again No affection between clark and lana. In the end he say he has everything he want on the farm as long as she's there, they give each other that goofy smile and that's it! No,hug,kiss, nothing!

now for OZ, we hate the perfect princess it's true. Do we hate sinister lana, maybe? What drives us crazy is since when does she go from miss perfect to evil genius. she's perfect one day and sinister the next. where was the transformation. And don't say she learned it all from watching lex, because she was kept in the dark from most of his wrong doings. it wasn't until the end of season 6 that she truly understood how evil the luthers were. The girl can't make a cup of coffee but she ends up owning the coffee shop and cooking breakfast for clark. lex gives her 1 lesson on how to defend herself and suddenly she's bruce lee. She shows no talent and suddenly she's a great artist studding in europe . That's why she's hated. She just suddenly does thing. She shows no progression of any kind. They don't explain how she learns anything! The show didn't start with Clark just suddenly having all his powers. He gradually showed ability after ability and he still has alot to learn(like flying) a

Mason this is why I believe that she's the clone. I can buy her snooping around lex's lab and finding the clone. But she's too much of a princess to have carried out the rest of this crazy plan(what ever it is).Maybe that's why she didn't shoot lex in china. The real lana... well who knows what she would have done. But maybe the clone thought it might be a good idea to take his offer and see what life in lana shoes might be like, not to mention, why kill lex when I can take him and lionel for all their worth. As for lana leaving clark for the good of mankind, well first let me go throw up... O.k. I believe she made it look that way because Lionel scared her a little. Now Both Luthers are on to her and she was warned by Lionel to back off of Clark so she might be setting up her exit strategy just in case things go sour.
