Smallville: Episode 1.4, "Cure" Recap

The big news for Smallville tonight was the appearance of the man who most recently played Superman on network TV, Dean Cain. Cain portrayed the Man of Steel on the ABC hour-long Lois and Clark which, among other things, brought Teri Hatcher into American homes. Cain, on tonight's episode of Smallville, goes the other way and plays the bad guy, the evil Dr. Curtis Knox. Other than that, we learn some more about Kara's past and what Lana is up to, plus some major moments in Chloe and Jimmy's relationship.

Chloe and Jimmy are having a nice little talk over coffee, Jimmy showing Chloe a pair of concert tickets he bought for them, when Chloe recognizes one of the meteor freaks. She thinks the girl has escaped from the hospital. Chloe calls the hospital from outside, but the girl shows up in Chloe's face. It turns out that the girl was cured, thanks to the work of Dr. Curtis Knox (Dean Cain). One downside is that when she was cured, some of her memory was wiped away. The girl remembers nothing from the past six years.

Ok, let me be the first to comment. CHLOE ROCKS!!! No wonder this episode was so good. But why do they always have to treat her so badly boyfriend-wise? Now Jimmy is bailing because she can't confide in him yet? ooo poor Chloe! We all love her though! Lana, Lana, Lana.. WTH??? She lies looking Clark straight in the face, and then says "I would never lie to you" and Clark just hugs her? They need to sto making Clark look soo dumb! Surely by now he must know something's up...Lana all of a sudden has "sources"--who gagged at that? and Lana all of a sudden can "Hack" her way through Lex's maximum security to spy on Lex? But one great thing: Clark's biggest worry was that Chloe would forget him! Yeah!! Clark can't imagine chloe not remembering him. Now that's why I watch this show! Chloe ROCKS!!

that was so sad and at the same time i was happy that they are over so chole can find some one like clark and that was so cute when clark said you going to forget me amd he said it twice

Chloe doesn't give Jimmy enough credit, I think he would accept that she's a meteor freak. She's making the same mistakes Clark made with Lana. Trush issues, secrets, and crying. Bah!

I am disappointed in Chloe. For all the times she told Clark to trust Lana over the past 2 years when the shoe is the other foot she bails. Now she knows what Clark really went through with keeping a secret from the one you love and losing them.

Yu can't blame Chloe! For one Jimmy says that all meteor freaks need to be sent to Belle Reeve. So how can you expect Chloe to go right ahead after this and say :"Oh, by the way I'm a meteor freak"?? I actually loved Chloe more because she was honest with him-- she told him point blank that she can't promise him a NORMAL relationship. To me that was a BIG PLUS. Chloe is Not ready to talk about her MF status yet. So Jimmy if he loves her should be there supporting her and let her tell him on her own time. He obviously knows that something is bothering her, especially after that letter. Jimmy acted like Lana IMO. So I do not give him any props there-- But if it means the end of Chimmy--I'm happy for it. Chloe deserves much more than Jimmy, and Jimmy deserves someone who will love him completely-- Kara, maybe??? They have more chemistry.
