I'm dying to know what kind of plot they will come up with for Lionel's disappearance and re-emergence. Hope it's not lame. Looks like from the spoilers Lana aka little-miss-pink-perfect-princess is involved. Wonder if they're gonna blame that on someone else too.

You damn right they will. Little miss perfect will come out of that one scott free again. I hope lionel does get away from her so he can have her killed off.

Actually the spoilers say someone with the initials L.L is involved. I hope you realize there are 7 people with those initials.

Here's the spoiler, I know you read it, but I just copied it for others who haven't read it. .....Lionel does manage to escape but is struck in the head while running through the woods. The person who hits him - the same person who has been paying Marilyn to keep him in the cabin - may surprise you. (Here's a clue: The initials of this person are L.L.)
- Lionel is saved by Lex (guess that eliminates one suspect), though Lionel accuses Lex of being the one who had him held. Before they get away, Marilyn pulls a gun on them. She is struck in the head (for a second time in one episode!) by Lois, who had been following Lex....... Now I don't know about anyone else, but this screams Lana Lang! to me, but I could be wrong. And who are the other three people with the initials L.L. besides Lex Luthor, Lionel Luthor, Lana Lang, and Lois Lane?

Kishagirl92, Batfan114 I think it's Lana too. Especially since Rumors has it that she's going to get Clark's powers and do some very terrible things and apparently one of those things is putting surveillance on Lex and spying on him and Lionel's kidnapping. maybe the rumorville mills are wrong on this, but given the fact that Lana managed to pull off that whole fake!death thing, I don't find it as a stretch for the producers to make her capable of kidnapping, not one but two Luthors-- the evil mastermind's themselves. I just hope that Lionel's return will be a big deal-- how is it possible that no one-- Clark especially is looking for Lionel? I'm mad about this... I mean did he mean nothing at all to Clark? Plus of course the fact that he knows Clark's secret... I miss Lionel.

Yeah, I miss Lionel too. Even though it's hard sometimes to figure out what to expect of him (good or evil), his character definitely adds a little extra interest to the story. My gut feeling tells me that it's definitely Lana considering the fact that we now know what she's capable of. But like I said, I could be wrong. Hope I'm not though because this act of hers might actually help remove the blinders that Clark's always wearing when she's around and it'll help give him a little more insight into who she really is. But I think that's just wishful thinking because the writers are in love with our little queen bee.

you girls want wishfull thinking, how about she gets clarks powers, goes crazy and kara has to kick her ass then linel kills lana with kryptonite. You can't get clarks abilities without his weakness. Hey a guy can dream can he? (-;
