Smallville's Chloe Sullivan Comes To Comic Books

Allison Mack stars as Chloe on Smallville

The CW's Smallville has taken a lot from Superman comics over the years, but now it's time for the long-running comic to find inspiration from the series. Starting with Superman issue 674, being released on March 12, everyone's favorite aspiring reporter, Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack), will be joining the comic book realm. This is the first time an original character from the television show has made the leap to the Superman comic books.

I love Chloe on Smallville. She's my favorite character. Whoever this character is they chose to call Chloe in the comics is NOT our Chloe. They are basically going to strip her of everything I love about her, make her a different character and call her Chloe? No, I'm not buying a comic that grossly distorts a character I love. Sorry DC, but what on earth are you thinking?

Gen717, I'm just like you! Chloe is my favorite character on Smallville... They are making a new Chloe and it's a little bit disappointed... Let's hope she still have this wit that makes her so special to my. But in a way, entering Chloe in the comics isn't really easy beauce of the different story... I understand their difficulties but you know we can only judge her comic-character after we'll finally see the one she'll make her entrance...

I think it's a good idea to have her in the comics but I agree with Gen717. This breakdown doesn't sound anything like our Chloe. I think she should know Clarks secret and like in the Justice Leage episode she should be involved in the whole superhero thing as watchtower. If they wanted to change something about her make her not from Smallville, but still Lois's cousin and still friends with Clark.

I'm actually really really disappointed at the DC version of "Chloe"! They want to strip her off everything that makes Chloe Sullivan on Smallville such a special character! I There is no way I would buy a comic book that distorts her character like this. The whole reason that Chloe is soo great and soo special is the fact that she's a reporter first and Clark's best friend! She also knows Clark's secret and has been there for Clark from day one. I simply don't understand why they think they will attract Chloe fans this way, because changing her character will definitely be a bigger turn-off than anything including her. But like someone else said, I guess we can't really know until we see how they will introduce her.

congrats!!!!!!!! but why cant we have our chloe in the comic coz i do agree that that does not sound like her. Doesnt she know clarkes secret? Anyway i like her she is cool although i am quite disappointed!!!!!!!!

O.k. lets hold our horses here gang. Lets look at the bright side here. Out of all the characters they chose chloe. She breaking barriers here. O.k. they changed her character a little but at least she's there. The only character ever to go from t.v. to comics. She's opening doors for other t.v. characters and shows. Yeah know i talk as if she were real, but hey I'm a fan. (-;
