I love me some snarky reporter Chloe. She's the best.

I can't wait until she gets her job back at the Daily Planet. She was fired for no good reason at all. The episode she walks back through those doors and sits at her desk again is going to be awesome.

Chloe Sullivan does rock...I mean, yea you got Lex, Lana, Lois, Jimmy and Kara but those characters are already well known from Superman lore and you basically know their backstories if you're a fan of the books. But Chloe was created just for Smallville and that's what sets her apart as unique and a bit more interesting IMO. Clark would have a much more difficult time saving Smallville from the impending threat of the week if Chloe wasn't in the picture. Do you ever notice that here you have the strongest and fastest being on the planet...and with strongest and fastest you would think smartest, right? No. Clark can't even work a computer...seriously...he needs Chloe to hack into something or other. Chloe is the brains to Clark's brawn.

And I couldn't think of anyone besides Allison Mack as Chloe either. Her delivery and timing is perfect. I read somewhere that Kristen Bell tried out for the part...might have worked, but I don't think quite as well.

Also, I read that Allison originally tried out for the part of Lana...now that I can't picture...

And I HATE that TPTB are trying to break up the awesome duo, the only reason I watch this damn show. I mean, I understand that they have to go with the mythos, but, seriously, they have already strayed far from the mythos with a ton of changes. So why do they have to tear down or reduce the intensity in the Chlark friendship to make other things happen?? It's not fair and it's far too heartbreaking. If Clark does what I think he's gonna do in "Abyss", I refuse to watch anymore after that.

Anyway, Chloe is awesome. I can identify with her more than any other female on the show. And I really wish they'd stop treating her like crap. They've put Chloe thru so much with no payoff. It's really sad.

I'd also like to note that Chloe won the number one spot in Zap2It's "Sexiest Writers on TV".
