Is 'Smallville' out to sex it up with Supergirl?

As season seven of Smallville fast approaches, more and more scantily clad pics of the season's latest addition, Kara AKA Supergirl, are popping up – and out – in support of the launching season's hype. With some wide sweeping allegations that the CW has ordered a few of its new shows to sex things up a bit, is the character of Kara being added to re-bait the teenage boy demo know that most of Smallville's girls have matured?

As long as the sexy females are well developed characters, I'm all for more of them. Some of the CW's shows could use to be a little less male dominated, ya know? -- sa@bonasi.com

I know a way to blance this out. Add Kara drop Lana. Time for Clark to move beyond Lana.

O yes, add Kara...DROP LANA!!! I'm all for that! Keep Chloe! I hate Lana... not Kristen K... I think KK is a great actress but her character Lana is lacking in alot of ways... I mean what's the use of having more female's if we are shown as these beauty but brainless---the way Lana is??? yes Drop Lana...

I HATE LANA!!! If she comes back, I think they should advance her character a little.. I mean so far all she's been is like this prize that everyone tries to get...they need to show her as a woman in her own right, with feelings and who does not always need protection.

Having Lana grow and move on is a great idea. Clark needs to do the same. Smallville S/7 has to move Clark closer to becoming Superman. the pace has to pick up a bit. I do believe that S/8 ought to be the last season of Smallville. But can this continue beyond Smallville?

I don't know..I mean an S/8 would be good, but without Lex??? I probably wouldn't watch it with Lex gone...and probably Chloe gone too. But it would be great to see a spinoff of the Smallville-- maybe Justice League with Flash, Victor Stone, Oliver Queen, Aquaman, Clark, Chloe and the matian manhunter?? Or maybe Metropolis with the same characters above but including Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen?? I think such shows would be a huge hit!
