Wow! I've not been on the Chloe page for days! I've just read your posts and well ignored Lanasdagirl's as usual. I have to agree with everyone else, Lanasdagirl needs to start being constructive, to grow up and debate/discuss maturely. That said....

Slayfan, I am with you on Chloe needing her own comic book series! I'd buy all of them and I'm sure a lot of people would too. I have to admit that what you have said about Lois is true--- she's independent and doesn't take crap from anyone. I do like that. I don't believe that women have to be needy and dependent all the time to be lovable. Probably why I like the idea that Chloe is no longer in love with Clark-- that way. If some hot JLA member whisks her off her feet and together they embark in saving the world, I'm on board! Lois-- well, all they need is to give Lois some real character development and I'll be on the Clois ship too--- but so far am disappointed at what they are doing with her!

Yes, but I have hope that they can fix their mistakes with Lois and steer her towards her future, just as they need to do with Clark. To me Chloe is the only character who doesn't need fixing in some way or another.

After they had Lois sleeping with her BOSS, the one who just HIRED her? I gave up on Lois being ILL. I can't imagine anything worse than ILL having the reputation that she only became a famous reporter because she slept her way up! It may not be true, ut rumors spread fast and like Chloe said, reputation can break or build a career in the world of journalism. Now unless they do a HIGE lightswitch, I can't see how Lois can be redeemed.

I agree that it was a huge blunder to have Lois hired at DP and then start an affair with the boss but I have hope that they can fix this mess because...well...they have to, she is Lois Lane, they have to make this right or else they are wrecking what, fifty years (Okay I dont know how long that was just a guess) of Superman mythology. I think that it is easier for them to write Chloe becasue there are no expectations, she is the shows creation and they can write her as they see her. However I don't think they see Lois clearly and maybe they're not sure how to write her. This is just a guess but something has to explain it.

I can say amen to that It's insane how they can senselessly worship her and write her so badly at the same time. You would think that since they put so much focus on her character they would at least have enough since to write her a half a decent script. Ridiculous. Kristin is an incredibly gorgeous actress and all, but I totally can not stand the character she plays. And I sorta feel bad for her for having to play Lana the way the writers or producers or whatever have written her. It gotta suck big time for her. I mean she gets a lot of action, but her character is totally sending the wrong message, especially since she is currently the significant other of the soon-to-be world's greatest superhero. But I guess maybe that's why they eventually will not work out. Too bad, she's not the right image for a superhero-to-be anyway.

Lois on the other has the that "thick skin" so to speak. She doesn't hold anything back and will tell you off in hot second. She speaks her mind, she has that tough 'tude needed to stand by the future man of steel. My only indiffence with her character is the whole sleeping with the boss thing. They are scarring iconic Lois Lane. She would never do such a thing. That is totally wrong for her image. I hope that something will be done to clear this smeared image of her they've made. Damn writers!!!! Screwing around with such a great mythology.

And then there is the lovely Chloe Sullivan. I have to admit she kinda was pissing me off in season 2. I couldn't stand her jealousy of Clark's feelings for Lana, even though on some level I could understand where she was coming from, but I just hated seeing her fiend for Clark while he's feining for Lana. It's like damn, you stronger than that, you can have a crush on someone, but keep it on the low if you know that they are interested in someone else. Then at the same time I didn't like how Lana pursued Clark knowing how her "supposed-to-be" best friend felt about him. But that's my opinion. But after season 2, Chloe started to grow and learn from her mistakes and she became my fav character. I love the open, honest, no boundaries relationship/friendship she has with Clark. They're an awesome duo. And I love watching them solve mysteries together much like the iconic Lois Lane and Clark Kent.
