Former 'Rock of Love' Finalist Says Bret Michaels Has Too Much Baggage

Rock of Love finalist Mia isn't shedding any more tears over her failed attempt to win Poison frontman Bret Michaels' heart. For one, she said the 44-year-old rocker isn't exactly her type. For another, she's looking for someone who doesn't have too much on their plate, and thus, has a larger capacity to commit.

“He's got a lot of baggage for someone my age,” Mia told VH1. “He's got a couple of kids and diabetes. You're not supposed to drink if you have that, and he drinks a lot. I'd rather not be a babysitter…to any of them.”

Mia, take heart in knowing that the lot of us know that the show was edited to show what they wanted to show us, not how or who everyone actually was. You're a beautiful girl and smart to realize he's certainly not someone you'd want to be around with the excessive drinking- especially being a diabetic. He's how old and he does this? I understand the tears at the end too. It would be frustrating being a wonderful person (especially compared to the rest) and being let go after enduring all that drama and spite. I hate the fact there are parents out there that still lead such debaucherous lives in front of their children AND the world!

Amen Georgia! He's still an attractive guy, but when will he give it up for his health and his young daughters, 7 & 2. He needs a nanny for his children. Tits & Ass running around naked, drinking and partying with more than one woman is not the example he should be setting for his girls. He's an idiot.

I am enjoying The Rock Of Love House, however I am also the age of Bret and I wouldv'e chosen more subdued girls, like Mia and Jess. I liked them the best. He needs to fall in love with someone "a notch nautier" then he had on the show to settle him down with a loving, stable family.
I know about diabetes and I wish he would take better care of himself, as all this parting is going to take its' toll evetually.

Well girl I think you all have excellent points However I Don't think anyone should go on the show expecting something other than what they got. He's a rock n' roller. Of course he drinks and of course he like girls that act a little !@#!@ty at times. That's just his type. We may not all agree with it but if it's what he wants then it's what he gets. Also we see him drink on the show but that show isn't every second of his life we don't know how much he drinks outside of the show. Just give him a break. I think any girl that went on that show not knowing what he was like to some extent shouldn't have gone on the show to begin with. I think Jes is the best of both worlds but we'll have to wait and see how it all plays out!

Odd...All of the baggage that Bret Michaels has did not stop Mia from continually trying her hardest to stay on the show. It is only after she had been booted that all of that baggage is something she can't handle.

Yeah right sure....Just another wounded ego talking smack.

If she was still on the show all of Bret's baggage would not be an issue and she would still be looking for love.

what a sore loser this woman is, she didn't know he drank, had kids, or diabetes when she went on the show? What a stupid money grobbing hoe. Really classy badmouthing someone now that you didn't make the cut. Stop trying to convince everyone you're so classy, everyone knows why you went on the show.

Yeah, I agree w/earlier poster. LOL.. Bret Michaels can get a woman anytime he chooses. He wouldn't have to look far. I myself think he is drop dead gorgeous. When he is READY to settle down, he can and will find a good woman. NOT on a freakin reality show. Especially these girls in their 20 somethings??? PLZZZZZ give me a break. It's all fun and games, Bret knows it, the girls know it. The chick talking about baggage? she needs to get REAL and ya, I am a die hard Poison fan, I love my Bret and I enjoy the show. That is all it is a SHOW. These women can boo-hoo all they want and call him washed up

i really think that bret made very good decisions throughout his show. now that he is down to the last 3 girls i think i have figured out each girl. i really think that lacey is a crazy drunk. i think that heather is a money hungry hoe. but Jes is a very sweat attractive girl that could pretty much handle brets life style and i think that she should win. she looks like the type that would take good care of bret and would expect nothing in return.
