Gauntlet 3: Whackin' Melinda in the Head So, uhh...The Gauntlet 3. Yeah. Wanna talk about it?
I don't see any other appropriate forums in which to talk about it, so it seems like this's the best place to post about it.
Is it just my strange way of looking at things, or was hitting Melinda in the head with a board, and getting her sent to the hospital, a deliberate strategy to keep her out of The Gauntlet, or what?
When we hear Danny talking to Melinda in the hospital, that's the impression I get. It almost sounds like he set her up to get hurt. "I love you so much honey, I'm gonna put your life in jeopardy so we can earn $300K!"
What you think about that? Sounds pretty scheisty, eh? Melinda's not even all that great of a competitor. If Danny thinks that her staying in the game means that he'll still get a cut of the money if he loses, or if the Rookies win with Melinda still on the team, he must be pretty desperate.
Though, I doubt Melinda's even going to be in the condition to participate for awhile. They might as well just send her home if she's not able to compete. |
