| What defines a great or memorable moment in a movie or TV show? Take for example, the movie Titanic.... I always get choked up and teary eyed when Rose thinks back to that Ballroom scene and sees the spirits of all those who died there on the ship, for others, they more love that moment when Jack & Rose are standing on top bit of the ship feeling the wind go thru them.... That little kid wailing the words ' Don't go Champ... ' as the boxer is breathing his last in that movie, 'The Champ'.... is a real sad memorable moment too for most.... For a funny moment in a movie... how about that camp scene with the excessive bean eating bottom burps in the movie 'Blazing Saddles'? How about one of my most favourites ever... 'Father Or The Bride' when Dad played by Spencer Tracey looks at his just married daughter going off on her honeymoon with genuine sadness but acceptance due to the fact she forgot to simply say bye to him before she went off.... and then there's the cartoons... Take poor Bambi's mother's death.... so very sad... all so memorable.... So then, our question for today is.... What is/are your memorable moments from movies or TV shows, from any time?.... how did you view them first time you saw them? What was the impact of them? Do they still mean the same for you after a while? AND..... At a guess.... how many times have you seen the same clip(s) since???

| What defines a great TV/movie moment? Difficult to say. It has to be something original. And to make an impact, I have to really care about the characters. I have to think a little more about it.

| two scenes/moments in film that I love every time I watch. 1. The beginning to Very Bad Things when Jeremy Piven kills the hooker on a ... hook? haha. One of those moments where the whole room goes silent. love showing this scene to ppl who've never seen the movie. 2. The beginning of Super Troopers.... I laugh so hard every time I watch the scene even though I've seen so many times. |

| I am going to answer but the funny thing is even though I am just giving one answer it can sort of apply to both TV and movie. My answer can be seen in the first Chris Reeve Superman movie as well as Sm,allville. The moment is when the respective character is witnessing the creation of their Fortress of Solitude. Another is also from Smallville when Clark Kent/Tom Welling meeets Virgil Swann/Cgris Reeeve with music it was sort of like a passing of the torch. |
