I second that, that was one of the only death scenes where I almost forgot I was watching TV. It was so real to life and shot so well and acted just brilliantly . The BTVS staff hit that one right out of the park .

I also wanna add Charlie Pace 's death from Lost. That was pretty freaking sad as well .

Also Sam Winchester's death scene. Even though he came right back to life the next episode and I think that took away from his death scene somehow . It was still uber sad!! Even more so than Dean's death the following season.

Oh God yes..... Sammy Winchester's death was totally heartbreaking..... I shed real tears over that one, even though I knew he was coming back within hours..... I hope they never do that to us or me again..... my heart can't take any more strain.....

Do we mean Dean and Sam from Supernatural? They die? Wow, I only saw a few eps and never really followed it....

And the second poster just spoilt Prison Break finale for me, damn. No worries though....

Spacebar... Supernatural is a show worth sticking with... first show I have ever watched from day one that has actually got better and better from day one... promise you... if you were at all interested in those first few scenes... what you catch up with a season or two into the show totally puts it to shame!!! Great show.... and yes, it's that Sam & Dean we are talking about....

Welcome to the forums, btw....

Sam Winchester's death in Supernatural was one of the saddest deaths I have seen on tv, purely because of Dean's reaction to it. It was heartbreaking and really affected me. Dean's death and following trip to hell was very hard to watch as well, that thought didn't leave me for a long time and I still cringe thinking about it now.

I also cried when Tony Almeida died in season 5 of 24, besides Jack he was my favourite character. That was a sad scene.

^^^ You are not the first one to have said that to me....
I didn't even realise that Supernatural's own Misha Collins, was in the first season of 24 until he pointed it out in some interview... entirely passed me by due to the fact I had cotton wool in my ears trying to shield out some of that Bauer Daughter wailing... I dunno... just didn't take to it... and over a year ago I met Riley Smith, the singer /actor guy who was in s3 of 24... at a Gig in Uk... he was so unimpressed that [a] I stopped watching 24 after the first season... simply because he was in it... or in a following season... & [b] that I had no idea at all that he was even in it in the first place... I found this out after a random quick conversation with him, at a bar... during a break in one of his sets... when I slated 24... in a conversation with the barman about TV shows and he overheard it and joined in... Anyway, I did sort of tell him I would make watching S2 onwards a priority ... ummm... sorry Riley.... I did try.... Oh ok then Terri... as I am a woman of my word... I will get S2 onwards from Library ASAP.... S1 is on my shelf here
